Star Wars Commanders was my favourite childhood game, I deleted the game in 2017. In 2020 after i get my first phone, I decided to download it back but couldn't find it in the play store. And I search on RUclips for SWC videos and it's been like 5 months after it discontinued and I felt kinda heart broken.
I can understand for multiplayer games and also the Disney problem, but Angry birds?! They just wanted to remove their old games because they're better than the shit Rovio makes now. There is no valid reason for making them unaviable.
There is a really obscure mobile Star Wars game that I hold dear to my heart, and it was Star Wars Journeys: Beginnings. It was one of those storybook apps that retold the Prequel Trilogy with scrolling and animated panorama art, but its best feature were the minigames. In Episode I, you get a Podracing simulator, while Episodes II and III has you command Clone Troopers to fight in an endless arena. In terms of paywalled features as a free game, you have to pay to access the full stories(they only give you like 5 pages to read for each episode), unlock more podracers and racing circuits for Episode I(you only get Anakin to race with out of eleven other podracers, and there's only three tracks to race on without paying anything)get named characters in the arena(Anakin, Obi-Wan, Padme, and Chewbacca), and 150 special "challenge levels" for Episodes II and III. In hindsight, the minigames nothing to write home about, but eight year old me thought it was the coolest thing ever when the full game was available as a "demo" in Apple stores in 2014, and it turns out the full game was only $7. I didn't know back then, but I was perfectly happy with the three Clone Troopers that you get for free, to the point where they're my OCs now: The yellow Sniper was Snipper, the red Medic was Meds, and the blue Heavy Gunner was Pew Pew Pew. There were plans for Journeys to cover the Original Trilogy as well, but Beginnings never caught on, with only two RUclipsrs having covered the game and was pulled from the app store after only two years. The game is also so outdated that most modern devices won't even let you reinstall the game, which really stinks. I miss my Clone Troopers...

Galaxy of heroes just sucks. In the beginning it was fun… until you hit lv 40. Then the grind begins. You had to get to lv 80 to even do starship fights, and the events were just terrible. You literally couldn’t win them if you didn’t spend money. The worst was the KOTOR events.
This is a bit of an iceberg on the SW mobile game because I don't think people know or remember this game exist and I don't see you mention it so it obscurity probably correct, anyway, back when around SWFA was still active, there was another SW mobile games called Star Wars Rivals, what it was is it basically a cover shooter pvp games, this game probably got the worst release ever, it get early access in NZ before global released, only to be shut down immediately within less than half a year iirc, and probably deservedly so because the game pvp is mad broken and the gameplay is jarring at best.
We're already sick of them. Though as long as Disney controls the IP, or holds a lot of power with it, everyone will be forced to deal with what they please.

I've done something similar. After trying to reinstall it I found out it wasn't available anymore, which was a huuuge shame.

It has become a very grindy game, unfortunately. After a few years of playing, I recently decided to stop because it felt like doing daily chores.
