For headphone advice, a good choice for value can be the Hifiman Sundara (2018 version not the 2020 version). It has a large enough soundstage while being natural. For a larger budget, maybe consider the Hifiman Arya or the Sennheiser HD800s.
To everyone asking, he recommended the 2018 version coz 2020 is a redesign. It makes the ears feel warm after a while and might get uncomfortable in summer

Hey Ed, I’m no audiophile, but I got the Audio-Technica ATH-M50XWH a few weeks ago and they sound great. They have a pair of white ones on Amazon that I ordered as well that I’m waiting on. They would look great with your setup 🔥
I 2 have the Audio-Technica M50X headset, and im loving them as well. I've got the white ones, and they are absolutely amazing, I can only recommend them. They are a little bit less "gamery" than the ones you currently own, but the design is really slick and clean like the rest of your setup. Hope this helps, and im exited to see the finished setup :) PS the audio is also really really nice ;)
He's had sennheiser hd800s. The M50s cant compete with that or the kef speakers. He needs something far nicer sounding (but still should have a pair of m50s for video editing)
Sorry for disturbing. Under my comment on this video I got an answer "Congratulations. You have been selected among our shortlisted giveaway contact the number above." is this fake?
Ed, here's an audio engineer's recommendation for cans. Since your setup is all white, you can't go wrong with the Audio Technica ATH-M50X. I've rocked a pair for years and it's REALLY good bang for buck. Comes with three cables, one short one long, and one coiled. Cable is detachable which I know a man like you appreciates. And it comes with a bag to store the cables. Clean. But if you want to spend a little more and you don't care if it's not white, I'd go for the more serious Sennheiser HD 660S. I also own a pair from like 15 years ago that I bought when I was running a professional recording studio. It's 3x more money but still reasonable (£322 for me here in the UK). You'll be hard pressed to find anything with this level of quality at that price. Cable is also easily replaceable.

Hey Ed, I can absolutely recomend the industry standard "Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro". They are not super expensive but deliver an amazing and accurate sound!

Great thing about the wooden sound diffusers, is that one they won’t attract as much dust as the foam ones but also the dust that does get on/in them is way easier to clean.
I see what you did there @3:20 you dirty ed haha.. but glad to see you again ed..keep the positivity.. hope you get well every single day.. we love you.
3:38 : I would recommend beyerdynamics DT1990 Pro. I could be biased as I have some myself but if you have a quality DAC/AMP the sound quality is orgasmic, even in games with complex soundstages it is a different level that I didn't think was real. Other options around the same level are available but at least you know whereabouts to look.
Finally got my first gpu, the rtx gigabyte vision 3060 OC 12gb, you are the one who inspired me to get into pc and build my setup, thanks for everything!
If you like open back i suggest the Beyerdynamic DT 990 PRO's if you prefer closed back I would go for Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro's as a music producer Usually use the 990's for mixing/master but for djing go for the 770's. As for speakers usually I go for genelec or krk and you can also get them in white. I strongly recommend an audio interface with both I suggested since they're 250 ohm they might be too much or too sharp for you in music in the high end range however in gaming etc they have an amazing spatial image scenario. Recommend to pair it with a scarlet 2i2 since it would also benefit your Kef speakers if you can connect them in the back of the AI using a balanced input. Regards from Portugal !! Good luck with the rest of the setup.

Hey Ed, I have to say, your setup looks great and I’m really happy for you how it’s coming together 😀 Also wanted to ask what program did you use to model your setup? I have most likely missed this in earlier videos and if so, I’m sorry 😂
He mentioned the the model was made by one of his discord server mods, but I don't think he said what program was used. Something like Blender would get the job done just fine though, that is the program I used to make a model of my setup and unlike many other 3D modeling programs it is completely free.
For headphones, I'd personally recommend the Bose Quietcomfort 2 wireless headset. As stated already, they're wireless and have a really good charge time. Mine usually go full charge for about 9 hours before they die. The sound quality of everything on them is really good too! Not only is there no delay, atleast not noticeable, it brings out the lows and the highs really well. The bass will definitely pop a bit but the higher pitches sound clean and crisp. There are drywall anchors that hold 100 lbs each so 4 is more than enough for your PC. I put up a wine and liquor rack and I put the 2 left side screws in drywall and for the middle and right sides I used 4 heavy duty toggle anchors. It supports the 20lb rack and 10 Liquor bottles and glassware easy
Sennheiser - HD 820 Closed-Back Stereo Over-Ear Headphones - Black I’d recommend these my friend has these He let use them a few times they sound amazing and crisp and it’s onto $2,000
If you want earbuds get the Earin A3… If you want over-ear get the Cleer Audio Enduro ANC or their the Alpha’s. I have the Flow 2 and I wear glasses, when I remove them I get full-noise cancellation but of course when I remove them I get full noise cancellation and the best audio I’m able to afford. (My budget was $600 at the time.)
Highly recommend the dt 990 pro 250 ohm. I have a pair of these and the sound stage is phenomenal. I will hear a noise in a video and take off my headphones thinking it was in the hallway. I have heard the dt 1990 pros can handle higher volumes and have better bass resolution. But seriously, whatever you get you will love. I tried putting an old headset on after getting used to hifi, and couldn't believe the difference. Never going back.
I would recommend the Logitech g733 it isn’t cheap but they are also affordable coming in at around $130 US dollars. They have great surround sound that you can hear your game perfectly clear, but also it is really soft, not that heavy, and is adjustable. So I feel like they would be the perfect headset for you. They come in Black, White, Lavender, and pink. This is my recommendation for your headphones. I hope you see this good day.
If you don’t care about the sound bleed, a nice pair of open backs would do the trick. The pair I use are the Hifiman Sundara’s. They’re planar magnetic headphones and require an amp and dac to drive them but they’re well worth it!
For Headphones I would recommend Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro cost around $160 best multipurpose studio headphones for the price range but if you have a bigger budget I would go for DT 1990 which cost $599 has much greater and excellent sound quality as it’s usually use for music mastering and mixing . Though unfortunately for both it’s only available on black or grey so you need to paint or skin if you want it in white. And love the wooden sound dampening panels and the custom logo sign / light on the ceiling
Hey Ed! I would definitely recommend you the Shure SRH1540 headphones. For me hands down the best I´ve tried. Lightweight and super great sound. Also super confortable.
The world needs more people like you the stuff you do for people I’m a very big fan and you definitely keep up the good work hopefully one day I will get a pc and we can run some games
For headphones you'll want to check out the Focal Clears. Combine it with an awesome amp & DAC such as the Focal Arche and you'll get absolutely mind boggling clarity and bass.

(My budget was $600 at the time.)
cant wait to see what ideas he has for the wall decor. Will he give himself the seal of approval???
It's going well...the setup looks very clean!
i honestly loved the kanto speakers way more specifically the kanto 2 tuk
3:16 are we not gonna talk abt this lol
I agree with you speaker choice. Don’t know anything about speakers in specific but it looks good is what I’m saying
I have been waiting for weeks I can’t wait
I can’t wait to part 3 hopefully it’s complete in that
Ed is gonna have the cleanest setup on the entire internet
I wouldn't be too sure about that, you need to watch his setup wars vids before u say that
If you don’t care about the sound bleed, a nice pair of open backs would do the trick.
Couldn’t wait for this video to come out
The world needs more people like you the stuff you do for people I’m a very big fan and you definitely keep up the good work hopefully one day I will get a pc and we can run some games
For headphones you'll want to check out the Focal Clears. Combine it with an awesome amp & DAC such as the Focal Arche and you'll get absolutely mind boggling clarity and bass.
I'm just using IEM for music, gaming and watching content. Very worth it
Looks incredible Ed! As for headphones I recommend the Sennheiser HD800s. Great sounds, good flat response and not insanely expensive
I love how he very clearly emphasizes "warzone with the boys" :)
