I understand all the criticisms of range, top speed, price etc but you've got to evaluate it on what it is. It's a good looking bike for buzzing around a city. It's not trying to be a replacement for a normal full size bike. If I were in a city I'd definitely consider one. And best of all, it's British!
Not the most coherent vlog ever. If the thing needs a service, that's not really achievable online, future or not. Crash damage? Warranty problem? A pop up won't be a great consolation. Looks great. Love the green. 40 miles isn't enough for any confidence at all. So, the price is £6,000. Value for money? Not, IMO. Let the hipsters enjoy.
Ok video ; but we needed some nice close up shots of the bike . Also how about showing the battery installation & removal ? You should also include running costs , service costs etc . Pity about top speed . 60 -70 mph would be ideal for the motorway ,
Rode the fxe ,zero s and the live wire the later is the best but in the us 200 mile range is the sweet spot with fast charging under 10grand or these will not sale the tech is just not there yet
Great concept and fantastic looking machine. I think it would be great in the urban jungle, as long as it has decent pick up. Range shouldn't be a problem for city dwellers. Keep your big bike, or rent one, for the weekend trips and use this to zip from point to point in the city.
Maybe they could add an amp and speaker with some selectable sounds so you could dial up whichever motorbike you want to sound like, Harley today, BSA Goldie tomorrow etc.

May I add an ebike in evens cycles can cost more than this bike , currently 7 grand for 2 battery option
Not an e-bike but not a real motorcycle either, given the specs, it looks good but that's not enough at that price ✌

80 mile range for 6 grand? On those little skinny wheels? Not a viable machine really. Might as well buy an ebike or one of those electric scooters.
That's kind of what it is, an alternative to the step through electric scooters that are already out there - just with a bit of retro style thrown in.
they quickly raised it to 7k after all the major youtube reviews

7 grand 2 battery checked this morning
I think a mid drive would have been better. That’s what top of the range e bikes have.
I'm looking forward to the RM1S next year!
EV's suck
No, hoovers suck. Fridges are cool. EVs roll.
@@visordown that comment was as lame as an EV motorcycle………oh yeah
Soon to be bankrupt like lots of other EV startups
Motorcycles and all 2 wheelers will have changeable battery packs.
Already happening in Taiwan!
Great if you live in a big city but still a lot of money for little range and little performance. The latte boys will love it though!
Very true!
Now that’s an ev I’d own. Good looking and it’s at a reasonable price as well. Wait! Just saw it’s top speed of an abysmal 45mph.
It's a toy
Attractive for city use. The back end is crying out for some sort of luggage rack ?

Never quick enough. If it di 75mph top speed fair enough but 45mph is a non starter for me.
Great but how stupid not to have a rear deck. Greedy pricing.
So you can't go far, you can't go fast and they're expensive
So if I buy two batteries I can get to town once but not haul anything.
Reviewer makes the Maeving look very small, what is his height please?
I’m 6’ and suspect the bike may be too small to avoid lower back pain.
Alex is around 6'2" - a bit of a giant in the Visordown office!
A bit like Alex. Very Simplistic.🤣
Nice one, cheers for the video review Alex.
We need this in Canada
I enjoyed the video, thanks. Charge time per battery?
Flat to full in under 4-hours is the claim.
A toy moped.
Looks good.

This is FAR from being a beautiful bike but it sure is cool.
Pricing is wrong now.
