I, unfortunately, had to cancel my order last week. (It was supposed to be delivered today) The reasons for canceling my bike was because my questions were not being answered by Sondors until I repeatedly called with only a week left before delivery was to be here. So, when I finally received my answers, here is what I tragically found out. The Battery!! This is a huge let down to me because when I ordered the bike over 18 months ago, the Metacycle was advertised to have an easily removable battery and availability to charge while at work or any destination I was going to. This is not the case at all. What Sondors told me was that the charger that they send is the only charger you can charge the bike with. So that means that you must carry the charger with you if you want to travel over 30 miles from your house. If you are more than 30 miles from your house and your battery is less than half remaining, I would hope you are traveling with the charger. The charger has some weight to it so you will need to transport it, most likely, in a backpack since the bike is without any kind of storage. It weighs approx. 8-10 lbs. plus it has 4 cables that go along with it. So, I was not willing to buy this bike any longer if I was not able to charge the bike away from my residence. They originally said that the battery would last 80 miles under "normal" driving conditions, then it became 60 miles and without the charger I would have to make sure that I would make it back home before the battery went to low or just die. Why make a bike that is unable to charge anywhere but your home?? To me, this was my breaking point. This maybe okay for some that will never travel far from home or for people won't be out driving around town, but a 60 mile distance comes up pretty quick sometimes and I would not want to tow my bike home for a battery reason. I had other questions that I wanted answers for, but this was at the top of the list. If you bought the bike and you're okay with the fact that the battery is no longer what was advertised, that's obviously great for you and I'm sure it will be fun. I will take that money and buy a different electric motorcycle. That's just me. Im obviously very disappointed that I waited so long only to be a week away and then this happened. I was looking forward to riding it. Hopefully this helps someone still waiting and never knew this information about the battery and charging. Cheers and safe riding everyone!!
I totally understand I I agree, not what they promised at all, I can get it to go 75mpg but the miles go down real quick, plus on sport mode it does not last for more than 2 or 3 minutes, that's a super downer for me.
In town, the thumping bass track of a Herley vee spewing out of speakers might be a necessity as car drivers usually equate lack of noise to no vehicle nearby...
Nice video. Got my Supermassive on 1/2/2023 in Colorado. Had to trailer from I70 near Evergreen to my place as it was a real snow storm. Was able to get insurance but not plates yet. Had to get the fobs re paired to the system as there was no chirp to get it going. Once everything showed up by USPS and FedEx it was around a half charge so topped it off and now it sits. I live in the mountains so too snowy. Did you have issues getting the plates? Saw the other metacycle near you on the other video what clip ons was he using?
@@gsmcqueen Yes, just did it today, no issues, just took a little while because they brand and some codes are not the same so the lady kept going back to her manager at the DMV, also the motor number is too long for California so they note that on the paperwork.
So let’s hope they listen to their customers and fix some of the issues they have with this electric motorbike. It does look interesting, but I do have a concern with the range and the ability to charge the battery off the bike.
Could you make a video on registering it? I am curious of the whole process. Could make for good content! Subscribing for more metacycle upgrades and future stuff!
Supermassive on the way to Florida! Would have had it sooner but held out paying the "white glove" fee until more positive reviews . I've never been a motorcycle guy .. however, as you mentioned, a great way to transition from e-bike. I like the look of your friend's cafe racer handlebar modification in your other video. Great job and look forward to your next supermassive ride!
Thank you for confirming that the right hand brake activates the front wheel brakes! There were many other videos online that didn't mention that! As a normal motorcycle rider I was concerned that they were swapped like a scooter. I am glad to know that they are not! I confirmed my delivery address and I'm waiting for my Arctic White to be delivered. They haven't contacted me yet for the final delivery, but they should hopefully soon!
@@ryanb5189 I originally was second round. But I was sent the email to confirm my delivery address on November 23rd 2022. They might have bumped me up to first round since I had paid in full back in summer (May) of 2022.
No, that's what I mean. The Metacycle is the size of an eBike at 78" in length and lightweight compared to a motorcycle, but can actually run on the highway. I currently have an eBike and being limited to 30mph sucks...but I also don't need near the specs of a regular motorcycle. Sur-Ron isn't really an option because I mostly stay in WA and California and they do occasionally enforce eBikes, Sur-Ron's aren't street legal. I think this is great.
Is it possible to do tight low speed figure 8s with that throttle? Is it sensitive enough to hold a precise speed so that it doesn’t lean over and fall?
They did a lot of things right on this bike. And it shows in the 'StarWars' styling. However, Their advertising claims need to be 100% accurate! No stretching power and ranges... No claiming the battery is easily removable! And admit 1 to 2 year delay on delivery after payment!
Nice bike but at that pricey Honestly for less than that or for few thousands more I can have alot of choices ways better than this. The LCD dash screen could have been better than this one.

Check out LandMoto District Street!
Smart move!!

Under the radar 🤟🤟

It’s not that simple kid. You can’t have a motorcycle traveling at highway speeds without a tag.

Box it up an ship it out to me now. That looks awesome 👌
wow man that thing looks so cool and badass, nice looks like so much fun!
It is!
great video, question when do they charge you full price? when they ship it?
What is heavy?
Got a Supermassive coming by the 15th just waiting for the driver to call, charger and paperwork in hand cant wait! Thanks for the video!
Great, you are going to love it, it’s cool that it comes with regular motorcycle size tires
Congrats and thanks for the ride.
Thanks, it’s a fun bike for what it is.
Most awesome e-motorcycle for the money...
I totally agree, looks alone make this thing amazing!

51mm hinged clip ons. generic and can be found on ebay or amazon

Hey bud, How tall are you? I am 6'5" and wondering your thoughts on how i'd fit?

Thanks! Will do!
What is the range?
Is that true that the bike cut off when you're going 60 or 70 mph on cern mns or miles?
Yes unless you hack it like I did, I have the software if anyone is interested, SoCal location
really cool city tool

@@hlagunes here in Portugal there is a driver license for 14 year olds. Its for under 50cc bikes, can I use this bike with that license?
I love it in black
I never cared to own a motorcycle until I just discovered these. I just need a simple commuter that's basically a bicycle, but 30mph ain't enough.
This is not a bicycle, it’s a full on motorcycle that can go in the freeway at 80mph, it’s a game changer

Yea I will try it, its easy throttle is fine at low speeds, no issues
Does this have the range to do 20 miles on the highway?
If you take it easy yes
No regen braking is kind of an L for a city bike
Cool video one thing the SONDORS signature is a sticker so no too proud of been exclusive 😂 other than that I love my meta BLANCA
True, so much for special edition...
Did u Reconfigure the Wheel Diameter, down to 1675,to get Accurate Speed
Not yet but I will
Take a drink every time he says game changer
Sad no peddles can not ride on beautiful bike trails
It’s ok, it’s street legal
I’m 6’4 can I fit on it
No problem, you can fit fine
Be careful on the freeway because performance mode turns off after 2min
Yes sir. Working on that soon, going to bypass the computer
@@hlagunes I think they do that to protect the motor because it probably gets hot real quick at those speeds so good luck and please let us know.

11:50 man u had me going....😁
The bike was too cool looking other companies got scared and sunk it. I don’t like bikes and I’ll take one of those to get to work and back

why not just fill up that totally wasted empty zone with batteries and double the range? is out of my mind.
Cost, weight, and center of gravity. Not to mention, looks.

Not with regular motorcycle tires, you can get a used 300cc bike but the cool factor on this and the super low maintenance is priceless
get two chargers, leave one at work, done
I hope nobody gets one because I wanna be special with only a few to have one.
