  • This is a tour of a rock crushing plant at Jennision Construction's pit near Goderich Ontario Canada. The Nye bucket used in this video was built in 1986 and has been in continuous service in this pit since that time.

    I worked in a design office in a company that manufactured several types of crushers for quarries and cement factories, it also manufactured large horizontal ovens in cement factories and very long belt conveyors. It also manufactured mining extraction machinery with mine trestles.
    I am familiar with the design of different types of crushers but I had never seen crushers gobble up the stone blocks. Through videos on RUclips I have therefore seen similar crushers in action.

    • @audreyshelton9301
      @audreyshelton9301 5 месяцев назад

      on straight 3/4 road gravel 1000 TPH is attainable with the right crew and skilled loader operator in glacial mixed pit conditions.

      @doc2622 5 месяцев назад

      That is amazing. I have an identical plant to this that I’m setting up next to a large riverbank that is feeding into a three deck 6X20 wash plant with twin sand screws. I will do my best to try to get close to 1000 TPH.

    One thing that somewhat surprised me was the use of multiple diesel engines verses electric motors and one big generator. The reason is the lower maintenance requirements of electric motors. Plus then you only have to provide fuel to one area, and one engine to maintain? It would just seem to provide a lower over all cost?

    • @tealpaddles8664
      @tealpaddles8664 2 года назад

      Maybe if you had actually had experience you would know the difference. What you propose is VERY fuel consuming .
