In '74 I went with my father to Cedarrapids Iowa to see our new crusher a commander 844 like this being built . What a layout !
I worked in a design office in a company that manufactured several types of crushers for quarries and cement factories, it also manufactured large horizontal ovens in cement factories and very long belt conveyors. It also manufactured mining extraction machinery with mine trestles.
I am familiar with the design of different types of crushers but I had never seen crushers gobble up the stone blocks. Through videos on RUclips I have therefore seen similar crushers in action.
This is a good video and I watch one now and then to really appreciate not being around a blasted quarry any more.
I used to run a volvo 250 on a crusher crew.It went into recievership.Looking for a loader position. I out performed all operators in daily tonnage
cool! rolls and a jaw. never seen that before. pretty dirty rock but the forest service would sure love it!! thanks for the vid.
Guys, guys, ear protection, I almost need a headset just to watch the video.
Using this for training. Ask miners to find all of the issues.
Agreed my heart stopped for a second.
Very good.
very nice. nice tools
cool never seen a crusher up close
Good performance.
how long does it takes to learn this trade in where can i go to get on job training
now I understand how the jaw crusher operates, thanx
+matshusa lornah How it works broyeur
Thanks for a well-done film.. Just enough people included to make it a nice human-nature story as well... Good humor on placing the camera on the vibrating parts.... Where does the finished products go...? Again, well; done..! Gordon in Maui
Thanks Gordon, the feedback is appreciated.
Do you know remember what the maximum TPH of that plant is?
I want to work there. 🥺
You better weld up that crack above the JAW.lol
What crushing company is this? And is that an 855 or 443? We run a pioneer jaw roll combo kind of a custom beast. Jaw size is 30x42 and 32 inch double rolls
The downtime is a b****shoveling underneath those machines greasing those bearings on the conveyor love to travel
@@jazzman688 I would do the shoveling not the greasing.
Little known fact: This is how they built the pyramids. True story.
Looks like a Cedar Rapids crusher
super stone crusher business thank you

Anyone knows the TPH capacity of this old plant?
on straight 3/4 road gravel 1000 TPH is attainable with the right crew and skilled loader operator in glacial mixed pit conditions.
That is amazing. I have an identical plant to this that I’m setting up next to a large riverbank that is feeding into a three deck 6X20 wash plant with twin sand screws. I will do my best to try to get close to 1000 TPH.
Uygulaması var mı acaba ne zaman istersen

i like the craseher stone business can you provide me job
One thing that somewhat surprised me was the use of multiple diesel engines verses electric motors and one big generator. The reason is the lower maintenance requirements of electric motors. Plus then you only have to provide fuel to one area, and one engine to maintain? It would just seem to provide a lower over all cost?
Maybe if you had actually had experience you would know the difference. What you propose is VERY fuel consuming .
@@tealpaddles8664 Explain why, granted a larger generator uses more fuel
@@scottpecora371 neighbouring pit had identical set up to ours( much the same as this video) except they were on a gen set. Fuel man thought they were the best since he sold them twice the fuel. Problem was they had half the output. Short story.
@@tealpaddles8664 interesting?

MSHA violations big time
If that operation was in the states, MSHA would rip them a new one,n then take the superintendent to jail.
It’s probably up here in Canada
