MBMMLLC.com: Crushing granite with a jaw crusher
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 6 окт 2024
- This was a request by one of our customers who cuts granite blocks for monuments and other decorative stone. The 10"x16" jaw crusher was used to crush these 8" thick slabs of granite as a test. This crusher will crush 5+ tons/hr at 1" minus and is powered with a 20 hp electric motor. The crusher did a great job! If you have something you would like to see run down one of our jaw crusher please let us know! For more information please send us an email or give us a call:

I could watch this machine chew up rock for hours.
Same
Denfktinso Noyb I did for 3 years.. don't worry it gets boring. I had a machine that is exactly the same, but could crush 5 tonne of rock in 30 seconds.
Denfktinso Noyb had to feed the machine with a 50 tonne excavator
I just love that sound got fired from a quarry I worked at because their jaw crusher just kept calling me to come watch
haha, it is still fun for me to run them even after all these years
This was far more entertaining to watch than it should have been.
ikr
You never think how much energy it requires to crush rock until you watch something like this
Not sure about obsidan - but I have mostly basalt at my property, no sand and some clay and the top layer sitting on a bed rock is one two feet max. So Kubota plus dump trailer - plus affordable crusher from MBMMLLC allowed me to build three miles of hilly road winter accessible. Big thanks to them.
Thunder Bay, Ontario, Gorham.
Thanks for the comment and update on your crusher.
Strangely satisfying to watch
+goomba008 And really fun to run. Thanks
agreed
To think there's a good days work with a sledge hammer to smash all that. Over in minutes!
It is somehow satisfying to watch that chunks of granite being crushed.
That one single time when wearing safety glasses is acutally not over exaggeration.
For some reason I could watch this all day..
Haha, Thanks for watching
Great video. My father used to have one of this machines to crush stones back in my country. Great to remember those days I was young. How much would cost it now?
Please send us an email at MBMMLLC@gmail.com or call 360-595-4445 for more info. Thanks
HI hello I am stone Crusher experience
This was so satisfying to watch.
Is this the type of machine used to make sand as well? My 6yr old daughter loves knowing how stuff works and how things are made. Came across this video and she loved it. Thanks for the upload!
This is weirdly satisfying to watch.
Almost hypnotic watching the rocks being crushed
That was actually quite satisfying to watch.
Top little crusher that! Looks very efficient, and quite a small CSS, given the large chunks of granite going in. Nice uniformity of discharge.
We had one of these machines but it broke after some idiot accidentally dropped his Nokia phone into it.
+Hubert Applebaum ᕦ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)ᕤ
+Hubert Applebaum well meme'd my friend
hi is an idiot
ha ha ..that's a good one !!
:: Slaps Knee ::
I could literally watch this for 6 hours and still want more
+Karl Bozeman Thanks for the comment. We have a lot of other videos of crusher too!
wow, crusher....
Thanks!
this is the most soothing & relaxing video i've ever seen fuck asmr i'll just watch rocks being crushed
How does the paint not come off the metal?
Super high-quality paint (yeah they are the dream paints)
The rock at 2:11 made the most pleasing sound
you answered my question although it seems logical for the machine to have an adjustable discharge.
So yeah... pretty neat!
We have tons of stone on our property, but even with all that stone probably not worth the purchase price of the machine just to gravel our drives.
+Atoyota If you are interested in prices or more information please email at MBMMLLC@gmail.com or call 360-595-4445. Thanks
very smart there boys. I've seen rocks almost that big come 2-3 feet out of a 16x42 inch jaw
When going from 10" rock down to 1" rock, should there be intermediary crush stages to : 1) Increase Through Put. 2) Increase Jaw plate wear life? For instance should you first crush the 10" rock down to 5" and then down to 3" and finally to 1"? How are typical crush yards setup? When crushing Granite, how many hours or tonnes of rock can you process before you have to flip your plate or when it becomes completely warn out?
Those rocks took 4.5 billion years to make and you just ruined 'em !
didn't ruin just made babies
@Legend of the Blue Macerator - I guess that explains why they’re all broken. Damn it!
Ur stationary die is loose and ur spinning it over too fast for the type of material ur running try slowing it down to 250 rpm on the jaw flywheel
Thats what i though at first but it does bollack it through !!!!!!!!!!
where will i get this jaw crusher and what is the price
Please email us a t info@mbmmllc.com for pricing and specifications on this jaw crusher.
It does the work, but what I want to know is what is the biggest jaw you have.
Please email info@mbmmllc.com for more information on the different sizes of jaw crushers we offer.
Wow. Now THAT is impressive!
+BoboLaTuque Thanks.... Rocks are hard!
Plays a sweet tune.
nom nom nom
I need this as an alarm clock
thank you so much
ok, so with today's technology, someone has made a cube that can balance by it self. And yet i am more fascinated by this granite crusher
+kramler Thanks for the comment. Its funny how fascinating some of this old technology can be. The jaw crusher hasn't changed much since the 1800's There have been some tweaks here and there, but they are basically the same machine. They are still heavily used in the crushing industry today and I don't know of a better primary crusher than a large jaw. Thanks
Well it sure made light work of that!
I could watch that all day
+NathanIzHere Thanks. I think they are still pretty cool and I run them all the time. Never gets old.
Nice tasty piece of limestone, ahh, a piece of delicious quartz, some andesite, hey where’s my wristwatch?!?
This is what it looks like when a machine has fun. Nice.
I like the noise it makes
Sounds like a freight train doing about 70 mph.
Good for bodies too. No, wait. Where's the delete on this keyboard? Maybe this will wor
No guard on those spinning wheels? Dangerous.
+augdog1230 Thanks for your concern about the guards and safety. This is a demonstration video only. When we sell the equipment we have them fully guarded with OSHA complaint guards. You can see some pictures of them on our website here: www.mbmmllc.com/jaw-crushers/ It is hard to tell how the machine works when they are fully guarded. Thanks for the suggestion and concern
+mbmmllc Great to hear that your company keeps safety the #1 priority. How about a video showing how to safely load one of your crushers?
+augdog1230 A lot of our customers do load the machines by hand. Here is a video showing granite scraps being crushed: ruclips.net/video/pErTKn_ItfU/видео.html
For some of our larger crushers we do have vibrating feeders and discharge conveyors as shown in this video: ruclips.net/video/Vma_rhcXdEE/видео.html
Thanks!
Hi, I need the catalogue of this machine as well as their prices and also how many tonnes can it crush per hour. Send also the different sizes/types of this machine.
Mount Baker... That is where I buy my eCig juice from. Good prices and great flavors.
Owned by the guy from GWAR, too
what would this do to obsidian?
This would work great for crushing obsidian. If you have a sample you want to send up we could run it for you. Please send us an email at MBMMLLC@gmail.com or call 360-595-4445 for more info. Thanks
Mind you, real world obsidian has no similarity to Minecraft's obsidian physical properties. Obsidian is glassy, so it would really easily crush, way easier than granite.

It would make sharp little slivers. Ouch
It would make fun of obsidian... until somebody loses an eye.
Those grizzly bars just chewing that lime up with ease ...
Thank you for your comment and for watching our videos!
But....what would happen when you drop...Chuck Norris into this machine?
Strangely hypnotic
the label of "green" granite is kind of wrong..its just granite with stuff growing in it breaking the stone down.. must be real soft and definitely isnt a green granite.
This is as satisfying as eating crunchy food or chewing ice. I wish I had one the bus stop the river rocks on my property.
What retains your fixed jaw and stops excess movement from wearing out your casting.
A tension spring on the back and a toggle plate. This video explains it:
ruclips.net/video/hsfEPE6TpBg/видео.html
Very cool thanks for sharing!
dang I really will watch anything. and like it .
how much does it cost?
+sam739146 Please send me an email at MBMMLLC@gmail.com and I can send you a full price list and info sheet. Thanks
A real live crushinator!
instaBlaster
Love it!
+German for nine Thanks
The stationary jaw die was moving during the crushing process. Not a good thing. Will wear the main frame were the die seats against the frame. Once worn, the die will never seat correctly, no matter how tight you try to make it.
granite is a pretty tough rock, or at least i thought......
is there anything made by mother nature that machine will not chew up and spit out?
freddy hayes granite is a softer rock. and no unless your talking a diamond.. but no, this will crush and natural rock aslong as it fits comfortable
Diamonds.
My girlfriend's name is granite crusher.
Hapie Star You realize that diamond would crush easier than granite right? Diamond is harder but its also extremely brittle.
Diamond would be destroyed instantly. Even hitting the edge of a diamond on a table along a cleavage plane would chip off a piece. Diamonds are hard but mechanically brittle. Very common misconception. I have met fellow diamond prospectors who test(ed) their probable diamonds with a hammer and anvil. You see the color and expression of their face drop real quick when you explain it to them.

Can you counterbalance the spinny-thing , so it stops shaking?
+Mike Dawson Hi Mike. Thanks for the suggestion. A few other people have also mentioned it looks like it is going a little too fast, we have reduced the speed on our newer models which helps a lot with the shaking. Also having it on an actual stand verses sitting on a couple of 4x4's helps too! Thanks
So there's not a way to balance the rotating assembly? Just curious, I know nothing about your type of machinery
+Mike Dawson The flywheel actually does have a cast in counterbalance. You can see it at the very top of the flywheel if you pause the video at 1:08, just before it gets started. It looks like a little wheel weight like would be on a tire. My comment earlier about the speed was a little cryptic. If it is slowed down to about 250-275 RPM the counter balance does a pretty good job of keeping it steady. At the higher RPM it's running in this video the counter balance doesn't do as good a job as its just going too fast. They are way more stable when we put them on stands at this slower RPM. We have changed the speeds of our crushers to about 275 RPM just for this reason. Here is a video of one of our larger crushers going about 250 RPM and its rock solid even up off the ground 4 feet and the conveyor cantilevered our 15" barely shakes: ruclips.net/video/Vma_rhcXdEE/видео.html Thanks for the comment and clarification
How much power the diesel engine will take it
about 20 hp
That thing packs a punch
Awesome!!!

Thank you for your comment and for watching our videos!
I know someone who eats like that!
What is the Rpm on the flywheels it looks too fast?
+Marco Van Zyl These smaller crushers go a little bit faster than their larger brothers, but I do agree the RPM on this one is a little faster than it needs to be. This one goes about 350 RPM. We have found that about 275 RPM for this model is best. Thanks for the comment!
Ahhhhh, the wonderful sounds of breaking bones.
That is very satisfying to watch. What's rent on a rig like that?
For pricing, please send us an email at Info@mbmmllc.com or call 360-595-4445 You can also visit our website here: mbmmllc.com/
i put a thumbs up for u dood awsome i watch this every day.😀
+Nathaniel Maddox Thanks!
Your welcome
I guess the paint on the jaws doesn't last very long...
Can I use this machine to get a 100-220 mesh garnet(broken granite)out of it?not sure if that’s what gonna happen if I throw those 1.5 inch pieces back in machine to run it second time or it might be to much and possibly I need something else?what is your number to contact you?
Is that the same rock crusher as cerro gordo?
Seems like there are some pretty obvious improvements that could/should be made as far as safety goes and how materials are fed into the machine. Just find it hard to believe anyone would get to that point in development and think it was a finished product.
+Pheonix2022 What are you talking about? You put the rock in and you leave. If you hurt yourself on this you are an idiot.
Matt Yale You can see pieces flying out the top. A simple cover or shield would prevent a potential injury. From working in paving you would be surprised how far a crushed piece of rock or concrete can fly. Doesn't make you more manly to ignore safety when operating machinery.
+Pheonix2022 it isn't about being more manly, it is about common sense. You put in your rock and then you leave.
Matt Yale Ok bud whatever you say lol seen dozens of guys like you get injured on the job because they think taking proper safety precautions are unnecessary and that they're too smart to get hurt. But hey what would I know from having actual experience.
+Pheonix2022 sounds like your team is dumb.
so satisfying.

Thank u for your informative video.
Very nice!! I would love one of those but I know I could never afford it. I'd want to hook it to a gas engine or a hydraulic system.
Hi Consaka-
Thanks for the comment. If you are interested in prices and more info on our jaw crushers please email us at MBMMLLC@gmail.com Also you can check out this video of a 10"x16" jaw with a gas engine for power:

Thanks.
mbmmllc Love the way they work. Simple yet effective design.
What size motor do you have driving that bad boy?
+Lint licker Its a 20 hp 3 phase electric motor.
How much this crusher
Good video!!
whats is the angle on the jaw plate plesae
Reminds me of the Neverending Story
Good job
Great! Thanks!
Very cool, thank you.
....I`d love one of these....

Hi it is very good kind of equipment to make that
this is racism. rock lives matter
And why did he single out granite anyway? What about all the other rocks? And wtf... 0:06 what does the colour of the rock have to do with anything? Rocks are rocks people, it's 2016... time to get over it.
+Deacon Swayne exactly this. I agree Deacon
Can someone please give me an idea on the price for One of those jaw crushers please??
