The 46 cell phones may be of 46 different victims. He did this for 30 years, so one to two victims per year is somewhere between 30 to 60 victims. The cell phones would have the scent of the victims, personal photos, maybe videos... I think the cell phones are trophies, like articles of clothing and photos were to the BTK.
Rex may appear disorganized but he shares that house with three other people. Losts of creative people live in total chaos. They appear disorganized, but they know exactly where everything is. From stacks of books to piles of clothing, to a $20.00 bill in a jacket pocket buried under an avalanche of accumulated things. They have a picture in their mind of the exact location for thousands of items. Creative people are spooky smart. Spelling is the "organization" of stylized letters. Albert Einstein could not spell. Ernest Hemingway (the writer) could not spell, Leonardo DaVinci could not spell... Leading a double life, and running a business, and moonlighting as a serial killer isn't something I would attribute to someone who is of average intelligence. DNA wasn't giving people away 30 years ago. Had Rex had gone through a police academy or military, there would not have been a hair to find. (One of the reasons the BTK, and Golden State Killer remained undetected for years).

3:51 and the interest of the new book.
    What better photos????
I would not put it past these companies.
And also it’s a big tell to her interests.
Did she tolerate the situation by satisfaction of greed.

The house is so incredibly small, it boggles the mind that 3 other family members didn't stumble across something amiss.

Sometimes, the best place to hide things, are in plain sight. Most families of serial killers are oblivious to what is going on.

Agreed. Even storing seasonal items year after year. You can find the things have been moved around, added or disposed of.

    7:06 perspective
    A married parent
    No gender issues please
    What was said....
It goes to you and your choices
A man will only bring you down
    Now
    That can be very good
    Or
    Very very bad.

I don’t think Sandra Costello was his first. Usually the first is more sloppy. Plus it was so similar to Bittroloft. He couldn’t have copied or framed him so well for his first.
