  • Sarah Boone: suitcase murder, a defense of battered women syndrome?
    #sarahboone #suitcasemurder #selfdefenseorbatteredwomen
Sarah Boone, the Florida woman accused of zipping her boyfriend inside a suitcase in an alleged game of hide-and-seek and then leaving him outside until he died, will soon go to trial on second-degree murder charges more than a year after she was originally scheduled to stand trial.
Boone was arrested on Feb. 25, 2020, by Orange County deputies after detectives said they found Jorge Torres Jr., 42, had remained in the suitcase for hours outside of the couple’s Winter Park home.

Super sadistic. That's why I can't see her as "innocent". Everything else she's done after that event, only digs her into a deeper hole. She's not honest and she's not sincere and this lack of humility makes her an unsympathetic defendant.

Sarah has 2 private attorneys. The second video, with the suitcase the other way, is in fact, a video. Sarah flipped him over a couple of times, at the least. I believe she kicked it down the stairs, with Jorge in it. She is not getting the death penalty. She's charg3d with second degree murder. 4 of the 8 attorneys couldn't represent her because they had represented Jorge in the past. So Sarah drove 4 attorneys away, not that it is much better.

These people didn’t know that the jury will be 6 people. They didn’t know that Sarah said she flipped the suitcase over, during the interview at the police station. Also, James Owens volunteered, he was not appointed and Sarah turned down a manslaughter plea bargain of 15 years.

On one of the videos of the suitcase there are drag marks on the carpet on the left side. I'm wondering where the stairs are in the apartment because to me it suggests that Sarah pushed the case with Jorge in it down the stairs, dragged it then overturned it to where it was. Did anybody measure the depth of the case and compare it to the drag mark? IMO they were playing hide and seek, Jorge got in the suitcase and pulled the lid over himself and Sarah then zipped it up.
