Agree totally I would follow him and subscribe but really don’t want all the royal info or conspiracy theories he’s very good at interviewing very interesting people and he gives the guest plenty of time to tell their story
Yep, far far too many Megan Markle posts. I'm assuming he is being paid to promote this subject by someone. It's really the only way to explain there being so many so frequently.
Hopefully, this will give balance to how the public see the Police, they've had some (deserved) bad publicity recently, but that's the action of a minute portion of officers. Most have similar stories to Robert. Thanks for asking him on Shaun to show what it's really like 👍
My late husbands mum injected all her kids with heroin from age 5. She also gave it to them for Xmas. They were all out into care. He was on methadone at age 10!!! He was born an addict and detoxed as a baby and then she did this to them. Jim and his siblings didn’t stand a chance from word go 😢
i've sat through this for over 2 hours from Botswana. And I wanted to change it and watch something light, but this is one of the best life experiences, best stories I've ever heard. Couldn't turn it off.

What an brilliant interview, I could have listened to him all day. I can't imagine being a police officer nowadays, our streets are so dangerous and it's only going to get worse especially when our governments continually cut services and our police numbers. You really need to put phone numbers and webpage addresses for our men who are struggling and feel that they can't tell anyone.
After watching Ben Pearson I never thought Poly officers would suffer with mental health problems, Bens ex West Yorkshire police and the job broke him mentally and physically. He's ex Police interceptors channel 5. Shaun needs to get him on the podcast.
When not preoccupied , Tyking, these malcontents were to be found , policing, the nationalist people of Derry , Belfast and elsewhere in N Ireland , always heavily armed dangerous and unaccountable.
Probably one of the best crime podcasts ever, Shaun mate,ya need to change that mike or something cos I listen in earphones and I swear mate it was like Darth Vader breathing was the background sound to this one

Being a stickler for detail, I should correct myself: at 1:49:13 on Live Chat I state 'Gainsborough': I should have said 'Gainsbourg'. I've looked at the first pages of Robert Messenger's book (a novel, not realised at first) Amazon Kindle sample: Messenger's prose looks excellent. Honestly, I won't get round to purchasing soon, I'm way behind on my reading lists ... but hope to catch up in time. Honestly too I need to see the first 45 mins of this broadcast, as I came in late. Ta-ra.

You must be raking it in with advertising . Roughly every 9 minutes . With your inbuilt paid promos, you're turning more into an advertising channel than podcast.
Wow Durham is a tough place and the prison there ia A cat i believe. He is mentally tough AF to have dealt with all this. Serving in Ireland was paid better because the enemy was hidden and blended in with civilians so like Afghanistan it was so dangerous.
Its significant that he says the objections to the volume of stop and search was reduced coming from the upper management level. Which means thw instruction for them to do that must've come from the home office ?? Or am I off key ??
Just read your comments on the live broadcast, correct as they are ,that creating division ensures control for some , you seemingly inferred that control fell to republican ( and others ) paramilitaries , however ultimately control lies with the British government. Also the sectarian aspect of the conflict was exported into Ireland from Britain to ensure that same division and maintain British dominance.
