1991 - six years before the BBC UK division has their 24 hour rolling news channel, meaning BBC One's daytime schedules were transferred to BBC 2, and rolling news took over BBC One (except for Neighbours for some reason).

BBC One Northern Ireland viewers managed to see Neighbours at 5.35pm along with the rest of the UK, as in 1991, Northern Ireland aired their regional news at 5.35pm. With the Gulf War, BBC One NI had no option but to take the network feed at 5.35 and air Inside Ulster News at 7pm along with the other BBC regional news programmes.

Another great upload (and I saw the third one from just before Neighbours). If you have any other coverage particularly from 17th January (and any from ITN?) it would be much appreciated - cheers!

Hey, is it fine if I use this for a mock i'm planning on making.
I will credit you and if you need more information, reply and I'll provide more info on the mock.

Unusual that both showings of Neighbours made it to air - any reason they couldn't go onto BBC Two?
