Thank you all the way from TX, Pastor Vernon. I love your focus on marriage and singles ministry. I love that your church has facilitated Godly friendships that end up in marriage. Down here in TX, so many of our churches are full of single women. I rarely hear teaching on marriage anymore and instead there is another doctrine where leaders are teaching that singleness should be preferred and that it demonstrates self-love. My heart aches for our single women here. It really is a big issue in some of our black churches, here in TX.

The last time I prayed for a husband he gave me exactly what I asked for but he was also in these streets of Cleveland, Maple Heights, Warrensville, ect. I was his 2nd wife and now he's on his 3rd. No more marriage for me. What about making sure you don't die in your sins? 🤔

I have heard a lot of people say the same thing and it has always bothered my spirit. It is as if you all are saying that GOD in HIS jealousy was tired and offended by you asking too much for a husband and just threw you something to shut you up and teach you a lesson at the same time. I hope that the devil sent these bad men and not GOD because if GOD is punishing us for desires that HE gave us that we don't want and never asked for, nor can we rid ourselves of them, then we are in big trouble. I would hate to think that GOD could be vindictive in that way.
