When "right hand of fellowship" is taken out of context, it reminds me of when false preachers and teachers say "except God as your personal savour "...BOTH Sayings to try and put people "into" The Church/Body of Christ. A person who sinned or fell away from the faith, 1 John says if we confess to God he is just and able to forgive us. If we are sincere in repentance, GOD'S hands are outstretched for his lost sheep to come home. As the body of Christ we ought to welcome the person pray for the person and be patient during the restoration process. Right hand of Fellowship is not needed.
