i'm guessing a "reading chunky books" video and i'm totally here for it. also mistborn is a great intro to sanderson, elantris is good, but by far not his best book, i feel mistborn is a better intro to his works. you're gonna love it
Elantris was my first Sanderson read and I'm happy that's where I started. Knowing it's considered it's his weakest work makes me more excited to get into more because I really liked it lol
I can't get through the first Mistborn book. Finn is jumping around rooftops. 🤷♀️ Soft dnf. Thought it would be an all time favorite.
@surpriseitsus9622 where did you stop? It's picks up quite a bit even before the middle. I'm about 75% percent through it, and loving it but I understand it's not for everyone. My friends who have read it, have told me the end is well worth it.

I read Gone with the Wind when I was 13 and I loved it. Funny thing is, I only picked it up because I exhausted all of the fiction reading material in the house 😂😅
The transitionary jingles 😆 Do you ever dabble in old classics? I think you'd really enjoy The Count of Monte Cristo! It's a big tome, but flys past for the most part, as the plot is so good.
I have dabbled in some of those old classics in the past. I want to revisit some this year, and also read ones I haven’t attempted as well! Monte Cristo is at the top of that list!!

You should watch the film gone with the wind, then look up Carol Burnetts Gone with the Wind. It's worth it. Side note, the original movie set of Gone with the Wind burned to nothing and killed several people. It was a big deal back in the day, my mom still talks about it.

Wow sounds like life has been lifeing for you and Ashlynn! Absolutely love these day in the life vlogs I think it’s so fun and intresting. I loved seeing your shelf tour also and the little jingles made me laugh each time. I think you should absolutely do some more of these vlog style content in between your bigger videos. I have no idea from the books what videos may be coming. At first I thought with gone with the wind it would be classics or something but then you showed the other books and they are all chunky boys so maybe reading all chunky or big books. I’m so curious as to who you are collabing with to read the Twilight saga. I thought maybe Ashlynn at first but then I got to thinking maybe bookish daddy I seen in his new booktube tag video he said he would like to collab with you sometime. I guess we will just have to wait and see! Also don’t be embarrassed lol both of my brothers read all the twilight books and went to the theaters to see the movies when they came out. Everyone gives the books and movies crap that they are so bad but I liked them all lol! Maybe they are just one of those things that are so bad it’s good if you know what I mean. All my life I've been choosing/buying the biggest books. Therefore, I've read Pillars of the Earth (huge Follett fan), the Count of Monte Christo (in French), Gone with the Wind (in English), Shogun (in Dutch - my mother tongue). After I saw your enthousiastic video on Stephen King's 'Under the Dome' I'd really like to read it. Hopefully, it's still available in Belgium!

I’m currently reading Fairy Tale from Stephen King and almost half way through. Just 60 Pages I want to finish in the next 1-2 Hours. And I really like it so far. ☺️ My first Book of him.
Loved it when I read it. Gave me great ideas for my RPG games.
I finished it a few days ago and I really liked it. I don’t know if I loved it, but it was a really good book and a great start for my first King book. The only thing I didn’t like was at the end with one of the female Charakters. I found it unnecessary to be honest also the description of Hana’s boobs 😅 but besides that it was great ☺️

Helll yesss FINALLY! Sando time! Mistborn is FANTASTIC, you will LOVE IT! I just bought a Nintendo Switch a couple weeks ago and I’ve been having a blast on it! I’m about to revisit FF7 on it. Are you a gamer gamer or just casual here and there? I also love the reading room, you and Ash did a great job! Glad you guys are getting a ton of books, you two have grown so much in such a short time and you guys deserve all the good stuff in life.
JOAL!! I am a casual gamer! The Switch is what I mainly play on! I love games like The Witcher, Skyrim, Red Dead Redemption! That is so cool to know that you game!!!

It was nice to see your bookshelves! I suck at reading series because I always find it intimidating to start a book series, especially if it's a long fantasy series and the individual books are massive. And I would really like to read more fantasy, I just don't read fantasy that much these days, unfortunately.

@@monty1434 a study that helped me appreciate the Old Testament was reading it in chronological order of historical events! It’s the only way I will study the Bible now, it’s incredible!!

Ive had Pillars of the Earth on my kindle for a long time. Thats the issue with my Kindle aka Fire Tablet. Ive got so much on there already.

Yay Witcher books!! I've read up to The Tower of the Swallow I think, took a break to start a second Witcher 3 playthrough. I started the Dark Tower books this year, currently on The Waste Lands, so good😃
The Dark Tower is incredible, and The Watse Lands is flawless!! But love that you play The Witcher 3! My absolute favorite game of all time!!

One of the things that my Dad has always taught me to help with shelf space and overconsumption of books is to only keep books that you will want to read over and over and reference books. I find that if I like it but I won’t read it again, why keep it? Most of the time I like to borrow almost any book that I want to read from the library. This way I also don’t spend money on unnecessary books. I hope this helps someone. You can have a huge library if you have the money and space to maintain it. I would love that! but I personally don’t.
I never had the choice of a library to get books. ....
But I get your meaning, I only by books from the categories that I know I will like to read and enjoy.... if I'm going to try something I'm not serten that I will enjoy and want to showcase on my library... I will buy it on kindle (amazon) their a quarter cost of the book or free ....
But free books on Amazon are base on your consumption, and mine are big numbers... as I buy only 3-4 times a year, in big chunks at a time....
But yea! Your father logic is very good..... and of course, if you have the choice of a library to get books is much better (cost wise)

Hi, it’s me again with another post. Pillars of the Earth is fantastic. There is a prequel that was released after the original trilogy. I highly recommend you consider reading that. I also just read the fourth book in the series that was published in 2023. Sadly, it was my least favorite Ken Follet book. Perhaps I’ll revisit it again and see if my opinion changes. Finally, his Century trilogy is also good. Another trilogy I read a long time ago and consider rereading

Have you happened to have watched either GoT or The Witcher series? I was never interested in watching either one just due to the amount of graphic scenes I've heard there are, but I'm super interested in the books, especially The Witcher series! I'm just wondering if they're less graphic than the shows.

I haven’t watched either show. I’m no too interested in them really. The book series, however, are amazing!! They aren’t nearly as graphic as some might think. I think the tv shows for both book series have given given the books a bad stigma for being graphic. They are really tame compared to the shows!

Awesome vlog‼️💯 I had a friend that got me to read Twilight and I don’t remember most of it but I have seen the films and I remember those so much more so I am glad that I wasn’t into audiobooks back when I read Twilight books1-3 and the last book I just skimmed it .😅😊 how do you like the microphone that you use for your videos ? Also what camera do you use ? i need to read the dark shade of magic series and the way that you feel about that series is how i feel about the Red Rising series that Morning Star ending so well i am not in a hurry to get into the rest of that series. i have also read the first 2 books of The Jade War series and as soon as book 3 is available i will get to it. as i will get to Robin Hobb and Mistborn 😅 !

Have you read any of Stephen Lawhead's books? The Bright Empires series, the King Raven trilogy and The Song of Albion trilogy are all so good! His series The Pendragon Cycle is on my TBR for this year too.
I have not, but I will add him to the list!!
