I’ve been waiting for this!! My favorite metal opera for lack of a better word for it. Amazing musicians and that voice. I’m right back in high school when I put on some headphones and blast this awesomeness.

Being Helloween fan, I would recommend song Twilight of the gods from Keeper 1. ( I think there might be a live version from Minneapolis 1987 which sounds exactly as album version.). Part 1 and Part 2 albums are untouchable classics.
This album is considered the best master piece of all power metal until today...
And influence many bands of power and sinfonic metal in the world...

Helloween hells on wheels live in Minneapolis Minnesota 1987
Thank you for taking our suggestion. Kiske is amazing. Next, Timo Tolilki's Avalon "Land of New Hope". And listen to "Easy" also. 'Easy' isn't a popular tune but I know you will appreciate the vocals. Of course, there are many Helloween tunes with Kiske (Eagle Fly Free and March of Time are a requirement.) and there are many tunes where he sang as a guest with other bands. He made solo albums, too. Tribuzy "Absolution" (studio track) is a kick ass tune where Kiske shares lead with Renee Tribuzy. Avantasia has many songs with Kiske because Kiske is Tobias Sammet's idol. Kiske can belt it out or lower it down but he is always smooth and in control. He actually left music for a decade while he explored theology and philosophy. We can only wonder what amazing tunes he could have made in that time.

I remember the first time I listened to this in 2001. I knew I was unique, because I no other Americans could even understand this kind of music. It's almost like the melody and cadence is speaking a different language that only Europeans, South Americans, and Asians could understand
It's funny. That's my exact experience too, down to the year. Discovering Helloween, Gamma Ray, and Blind Guardian opened up the whole world of European power metal to me.
There are two reasons why you have never heard of this band: firstly, it is a European band and the American managers seem to believe that they cannot be expected of the Americans. On the other hand, the cast changed fundamentally shortly thereafter. One of the guitarists and writers founded the band Gamma Ray because of disputes with the old label, the singer was kicked out of the band. After that, they were only mediocre for a long time. Only since the last they have been successful again. The Pumpkins United Tour was joined by guitarist and old singer. For the time being, this will remain the case.

Love this song, hearing it for the 100th time. Kiske is a tremendous singer. But I've always been partial to Andi Deris, who has been their lead singer since 1994, and now is the co-lead singer, since Kiske rejoined the band in 2016.
For songs fronted by Deris, I suggest Sun 4 The World, Perfect Gentleman, or King for 1000 Years.

In regards to a live song by them. Anything from pumpkins united is stellar. Its features all 3 singers for the band. Original guitatist and 2 others . Super fun to watch. And again how many tears live i think in 2018 is incredible

Michael Kiske is an amazing singer and he was the singer for the first 5 albums. 1994 onward the singer has been Andi Deris. Maybe try a song with Andi as the singer, perhaps the song "Perfect Gentleman". 2016 Helloween re-joined with the original singer Michael Kiske and guitarplayer Kai Hansen along with Andi Deris and rest of the band and they went on tour as Helloween Pumpkins United. And next year they will release an album with two singers and all the guitarplayers etc.
Probably i may correct you. Kai Hansen was the singer at their first Album, "Walls of Jericho" (and the EP "Helloween", before). Kiske then for the following four ones. He started at the tour in 1986 i think, because for Kai singing AND guitarwork was a bit too much at this time.
After Kiske then (you are right) Andy Deris tuned in.
Kai Hansen founded Gamma Ray, when He left Helloween and there He did the singing and guitarwork too. Just the last few years his voice hasn't enough stand to do a full concert. So Gamma Ray has also a other singer i think.
With Pumpkins United they have all THREE singers onboard and if you watch the Live-Version of the "Keeper" from them, you will experience all THREE singers soloing parts of the song together. And you will recognize, that Kiskes voice still (round about 30 years later) is still outstanding. 😉

Just kidding of course. As I said many times before, It's your music journey, and I'm glad you're just experiencing new music together at your own pace, and exploring your interests however you like.
Or.... hmm.... what do you think of doing a poll, on occasion, with some of the LEAST requested songs on your channel? I wonder if it'll be fun to explore music that doesn't get requested often, and maybe give them a chance. Maybe there's a reason they don't get requested for you much, and you may not enjoy it, OR maybe the song just isn't as well known as the others, and you would really like it (and thus, maybe some of your viewers may like it too, and discover something new as well).
I don't know, the unknown of a track selected in such a poll, might be why it could be a fun idea.
You can honestly toss any suggestions from me to the wayside if you like, because I think what you both have is working, and most importantly, you both are having fun exploring new music as is! I can't think of anything else that would be a stone-cold awesome improvement, so whatever you decide to do, as long as you both are having a good time and discovering new music, I'm on board. :)

I enjoy looking out for new, under the radar bands/songs, and I didn't know if you get other songs (from bands you know), or new bands in general, that aren't too heavily requested from the majority of users.
So, I wouldn't mind checking out some other under the radar song/band requests from other people, and seeing what they're like. Heck, that still contributes to my own musical journey, so whatever new experience is out there I'm all for it! :)

This version features all 3 of their vocalists, who have all rejoined the band. Kai Hansen was the original vocalist from 1983-1987, then Michael Kiske from 1986-1993 and then Any Deris from 1994 to present. They did a big tour called Pumpkins United and from this video, it looks like they were having the time of their lives. Their happiness is evident all over their faces and it is very infectious. The crowd is also having a great ol' time. I think you guys will really enjoy this live version.

BTW The Singer Michael Kiske was only 18 when they recorded this album.
After that album the leader of this band and one of the guitar players Kai Hansen left his band and founded another one named "Gamma Ray " that overshadowed Helloween .You should react to "Heading for Tomorrow" and a fact is that the singer in that album Ralph Scheepers later audiotioned for the place of Metal God for Judas Priest because he was and is that good
May I suggest walls of Jericho\Ride the Sky? It's on their debut album in 1985. The founder of Helloween Kai Hansen was a guitarist and a vocalist on only their first album because their songs were to demanding live. Those 2 songs belong together and it's legendary! Kai hanson was the original singer and guitarist. But they hired kiske after the first album walls of jericho. Just an epic band. Take your time and listen to the two albums (kepper of the seven keys 1 and 2) and also the "master of the rings" . Master of the rings sounds different, while listening. But the singer changed and people come an go a while!

Unfortunatly under the name Halloween it kinda dropped in quality (in my opinion) after the Keeper Album. To follow what came after you have to get into the bands that followed. Like Gamma Ray of lead guitarist Kai Hansen.
Eagle fly free is still another good song from that era.

The songwrite of I WANT OUT and HALLOWEEN by HELLOWEEN, Kai Hansen, founded Gamma Ray and composed this masterpiece. At least it is a masterpiece for me. There are two wonderful versions of this song. I want you to listen to the early version first.

Awesome! What a great, great song from an equally great album! Those vocals are insanely good. Not many singer (past or present) who can reach those stratospheric notes. Timo Kotipelto from Stratovarius comes close...Halford & Dickinson can hit high notes for sure, but even they would be hard prrssed to reach the highs that Kiske gets to on the Keeper... albums. Another great Helloween album is Better Than Raw...some really catchy stuff on there.
My next suggestion: Down - Stone The Crow (ruclips.net/video/Kdnki7XBzPE/видео.html). Down is a supergroup featuring members of Pantera, Corrosion of Conformity, Crowbar, Eyehategod & Goatwhore. Cheers!

Please react to Sabaton - Devil Dogs. I don't think any reactor have problems showing their official music videos. Some of their songs have multiple official versions with movies, just lyrics, or a combination. You'll see. They have also a history channel here on RUclips. Nice reaction btw.
Maybe you will enjoy another german band too. The band is called Avantasia and founded by Tobias Sammet. Avantasia is an all star project, they feature lots of artists from other band.
e.g. Halloween, KISS, Scorpions, .. and Marco from Nightwish ;-)
