WOW! We are insanely impressed with Helloween. One of the best metal songs we’ve heard and probably the best Helloween song we’ve done on the channel! We can’t wait to hear what else they have to offer! Be sure to let us know in the comments which song by them we should hear next! 🙌😁🔥👍
"how many tears" next of helloween. pls! saludos desde Argentina.
Lovebites does an awesome cover of this song Eagle Fly Free ruclips.net/video/To21HILZvYE/видео.html Lovebites constantly amaze they have 3 albums 3 EP's and 3 Live Albums this is a rare cover they usually do their own stuff which is also amazing I have yet to find a bad Lovebites song. The Lovebites version is live in the studio and they have the words for you to see.
@@evilvolts I've mentioned Lovebites many, many times here, so hopefully they'll react to them soon seeing as they've done the "bigger" Japanese bands. I'd prefer them to do a Lovebites original though... Holy War (live), Rising, Shadowmaker, or maybe even Glory to the World would be good choices.
@@PaulEMoz yeah but getting the foot in the door sometimes something familiar they can relate to makes it easier to do I would hardly say the other bands are bigger than Lovebites they won the best new metal band in 2018 and in 4 short years have done 3 albums, 3 EP's, and 3 live albums. They have only just begun, the best iss yet to come I'd say.
@@evilvolts There's no competition for me, Lovebites are currently the best band on the planet by far. But for some reason, it's a simple fact that far more people are going for the much more gimmicky Babymetal and Band Maid. Lovebites are far more deserving of recognition in my mind, and hopefully they'll get it.
This is by far, the best Power Metal song ever made, and the anthem of Power Metal as well....What can I say about Michael Kiske, he's one of the best singers of metal. What a song my friends. Congratulations...I´ve been waiting for this a long time. Great Reaction!!!
Thanks Pablo!! -Ethan
@@fatherandsonreactions You're welcome gentlemen.
I was 8 when I heard this album for the first time. 20 years later, it's still one of my all time favs. Sadly their drummer, Ingo Schwichtenberg, suffered badly from schizophrenia and eventually took his own life, but left behind an amazing drumming legacy - his machine gun style double kicks are pretty much considered the foundation of power metal drumming.
Bruce Dickinson was impressed with Helloween and there are photos of him wearing a Helloween t-shirt in 1988, probably a little before or after Donington 1988 (Monsters Of Rock festival)where Iron Maiden were headliners and Helloween were also on the roster of that live concert
I saw them here in Ghotenburg first Helloween - Keeper Of The Seven Keys Part 2 and then Iron Maiden - Somewhere In Time. The best Maiden concert I have seen and they are always fantastic and Hellowen at its best. Best concert ever!
@@frodemathiassen6704 Frode you are so Lucky to see that concert. That is my dream with Helloween and Iron Maiden being my favorite and 2nd favorite bands ever. 🤘🤘🎃🎃
Dude honestly
Helloween are one of those bands that just made great tune after great tunr. Bc they were knowledgable about music. Kai Hansen specifically. Dude even Looks Like how they say Mozart looked like lol.
An anthem for power metal.
Check out their latest single, fear of the fallen. Released a week ago. Instant hit!
NO, Don't do "Fear of the Fallen"
@@davegnarlsson4344 why Dave? Why? 🤭
I think you definitely should do Fear of the Fallen next. It’s who Helloween is NOW after so many amazing albums, songs, and lineup changes...it truly is an instant classic..
You have listen to 3 masterpieces from Helloween from their early days, the era with their first singer Michael Kiske (and guitar player Kai Hansen). You need to listen to the second era with the singer Andi Deris and without Kai Hansen. And now we have the third era with Helloween when Michael Kiske and Kai Hansen is back. Helloween today has seven members, 3 singers Andi, Michael and Kai who sings and playes guitar. They have released two songs from the upcoming album so far, the singles "Skyfall" and " Fear Of The Fallen". The new album will be epic.
You're wrong. Please don't give out wrong info. First singer - Kai Hansen. Second singer - Michael Kiske ( He beat out Ralf Scheepers for the gig), Third singer - Andi Deris (The whiner), Kai and Michael have now rejoined the band for the latest album.
@@davegnarlsson4344 Ok thanks for the info, I always thought Michael was the first singer. My bad.
You must listen to “Invitation” along with this, it is the opening to this song on their Keeper of the Seven Keys II album. Very moving and epic, and makes the song complete.
Wow finally another Helloween reaction! Cheers!
Good philosophy to start things off Larry!! Wow hear those drums??!! Crazy awesome. I love the power of that guy's voice. And magic fingers on guitar and bass!! I really really 💘 bands like this. Yes a big bravo guys. More?!!! Such fun Ethan!!! 🎸🎤🎧😍
Don’t know what to say really, except great reaction guys! I can proudly say that I’ve been rocking to the guys since ‘87. ‘87...wow how time flies. Still one of my favorite bands. Listen to them faithfully at least once a week. Not to long ago I was out and about and wearing a Helloween shirt and this cool dude commented on it. We talked about bands and concerts for at least 15 minutes. You can react to any song by them and I’ll be happy.
This is reaction is in my top of favorite reactions in my life. Seriously, thank you so much.
Wow thank you so much for the compliment! Glad you enjoyed 👍😁 -Ethan
Great reaction! And I couldn't agree more! It's freaking fast on the drums. I'm 14 and it took me such a long and boring time of just double bass endurance practicing to get this song covered! Incredible hard! So much harder that Dragonforce TTFAF. Ingo is a LEGEND and Dani is a freaking monster behind the kit🤘🤘🤘
Why did you guys wait so long 😫 haha I'm so excited
This is not a band I know beyond this channel, so I have no recommendations for the next song to react to. I can only tell you that their UK chart history is:
1988 Dr Stein #57
1988 I Want Out #69
1991 Kids Of The Century #56
They got two albums into the top 30 but that's about it. I think they're probably insane and I'm not sure if I've heard this one before or it's just the same style as something I heard before, I'm not sure. Madness! Great to see the two of you loving it, though.
I'm with you on this one, Dave.
@@lisamorrison2149 - Canada not exactly been to Helloween and back then?
Did not know anything about Helloween until I heard their song on this channel.
@@lisamorrison2149 you have soooo much incredible music to discover. They've been my favorite band since 1986. Greatest band ever and currently....that's my take.
This are another power metal anthems
Stratovarius - Black Diamond
Rhapsody of fire - Emerald Sword
Angra - Carry on
Hi friends 😎👍 when you can , react to Helloween - Victim of fate 1985 .. or Cry for Freedom .. good week-end to you two 😎👍🙋♂️
Thanks Gerry! Glad to see you again 👍 Hope you’re doing well and staying safe -Ethan
@@fatherandsonreactions thanks 😎👍
The epitome of and quite an anthem of Power Metal. Anthemic singalong chorus, soaring vocals, great musicianship, this is what Power Metal is. This is one of the reasons why I love Power metal.
And yes, Helloween always play this song. It's a classic and a fan favorite.
they always play it live and sounds like the album, especially when kiske performs it.
That was great fun!🤘😊
Helloween never really got the recognition they deserved but their music does stand the test of time really well to my mind.
Keeper Of The Seven Keys from their early days is a great epic at over 13 minutes.
Battle's Won from later on is a great song as well.
We’ve done KOTSK! Great song! 👍 -Ethan
Hi guy's. I don't know much about Helloween, but I'm learning more and more from your channel. Thankyou, and have a nice Weekend.
That's very cool.
@@davemac1197 I guess it is.🤔
@@lisamorrison2149 - how's your Saturday going - are you winning?
@@davemac1197 I guess you can say that. I'm not losing. How about yourself? Did you watch the new Bladerunner?
@@lisamorrison2149 - "I'm not losing" is good. That's like "every day above ground is a good day".
Great reaction guys! And you're completely correct. I've seen them live 3 times and they've played "Eagle Fly Free" all 3 times. And you can check out any live song from "Pumpkins United Live" or "Live on 3 Continents". Please keep listening and reacting to Helloween. You can check out Gamma Ray, Blind Guardian, Stratovarius, EdGuy, Kamelot, Primal Fear, Hammerfall, among others in the great genre of Power Metal! 🤘🎃🤘🎃🤘
Try "Blind Guardian - Mirror Mirror" Another essential and uplifting German power metal band. :) Also Kai Hansen, one guitar player and godfather of Helloween (who wrote I want out and Eagle Fly Free) has a second band. Gamma Ray! Helloween's brother, kind of. Their song "Man on a Mission" is similar to this but even more ass kicking.
They are still amazing live! after all that time, crazyyy 🎃
I've never heard this band before... I must of missed the first songs.
I'll have to go back and watch your videos on them!
*Y'all have so many videos now 😅
POLL THURSDAYS!!! 😂😂😂
*Air horns BWAA! BWAA!! BWAAA!!
Mom did pick great songs, I was impressed!
Yeah haha! We discovered them a couple of months ago! We’ve missed ya! Glad to see you back after almost a year 😛 -Ethan
Seen them many times live! Love this band! What other band has 3 active lead singers in lineup.....NO ONE!? They got killer new songs too. EFF is epic song and can be called a masterpiece of power metal genre!!
Liked that not heard that before Lary&Ethan great song.
Glad you enjoyed! -Ethan
Floor Jansen sings Phantom Of The Opera with Henk Port from Beste Zangers, you will not regret reacting to that, it's breathtaking.
You really need to look at Kiske's side projects. "Always" is a great tune about Ingo. "Key to the Universe" "Land of New Hope"
I love this song
Father :🤔!
San: 🤘🤠👍!!!
This song got a little revival after Lovebites covered it recently.
One of the best metal bands around.
Highly influenced by the 80s scene by Helloween, Metallica, Maiden etc..
Recommend checking out "Holy wars", live zepp 2020.
I totally second this..
After akk this years, I love this reaction x)
Lol haven't played it yh but I'm confident in already saying..
"Ooooh yeah!"
Glad u guys liked it. New single skyfall awesome video or how many tears live. Take it from me boys!!
Speeding Tickets everyday would be Deep Purple Highway Star.
💯 % TRUTH! 🙌
Hell on wheels 1987 live in Minneapolis Minnesota 5 songs little under 40 minute video, lots of energy and singer kiske sounds great live
If you havent checked out the band Majestica and their song Above the sky you should do it. Its pretty much a hommage to this song. Great reaction. 😎
Great band
My first time hearing the song and the band. Sounds like something I’d play Guitar Hero! Great stuff guys, and happy Saturday.
Hi Adam!
@@davemac1197 YT deleted my initial reply, so I’ll give it another go. Good evening Dave!
@@adama1189 - YT having fun with you already? I just replied on my thread.
Glad you enjoyed Adam! Have a great memorial day weekend 👍 -Ethan
@@fatherandsonreactions Thanks Ethan, same goes out to you and your family.
WAY better than I Want Out. This is Helloween in a nutshell.
Same album....."March of Time"
Thanks guys for listening to this Helloween Anthem! I love it. 🎶💕 Listen to the songs Hocus Pocus by Helloween and Year Of The Cat by Al Stewart.
You should try their song 'From Where The Rain Comes'. IMO that's their most brilliant song with crazy guitar work...
Sorry, it's called 'Where the Rain Grows'...
Nice reaction, thanks!
Helloween is not just speed though, maybe if you can do "A Tale That Wasn't Right" and react, we can have your reaction to a non-speed piece as well. :)
I can't pin it down but it wasn't one of my favorites. I may have to come back to it in a few days and give it another try. You guys have a great Memorial Day Weekend and remember the real reason we celebrate it. Take care.
You too Mark 👍 Have a great one -Ethan
Fellas, give some old Iron Maiden a shot. Paul Dianno era maiden is different but very cool. Check out Phantom of the Opera from the first maiden album. It will make you wanna check out more maiden dianno tunes. Keep up the great reactions.
RIsp Ingo switchengerg btw
The drummer. Committed suicide jumped in front of a train. Funny his drumming was like a locomotive train
RIP brilliant and seemingly nice lad.
Wow. That’s terrible! -Ethan
The Pumpkins United is an awesome concert.
Yet, you shoul do some songs from others singers before.
With Kai Hansen on vocals: Ride the Sky, Reptile or Judas
With Andi Deris on vocals: Where the Rain grows, Perfect Gentleman or Midnight Sun
The, you can listen to Pumpkins United Hoy many Tears.
This is the best power metal tune ever written.
check out March Of Time, the best speed power metal song they born!!! All in one!
Gotta get back into these guys
You’re right!! What song / performance? -Ethan
@@fatherandsonreactions how many tears live pumpkins united
Same album...."Save Us"
Time for you to do a live Helloween. How Many Tears live in Wacken 2018 is a GREAT choice. They’ve undergone several lineup changes but this is an epic live show called United Alive where singer Michael Kiske and founding member Kai Hansen rejoin the current lineup and all take turns singing. It’s pure magic! Another great choice from Keeper of the 7 Keys part 2 album is Save Us and another awsome song live that’s slower is A Tale that wasn’t Right ( again from Wacken 2018.
Hello from Finland!
Do the Bobby Womack - Across 110th street.
ride the sky with kai hansen glorius power song!
They have a great new album, check Skyfall and Free of the Fallen.
Great song and reaction. Check out the song "Power" from The Time of the Oath album. It has the same instant appeal as I Want Out. As well check out some Gamma Ray featuring Kai Hansen. Rebellion in a Dreamland is a good start.
you should check the new songs from the new album (2021): Our for the Glory, Skyfall, Fear of the Fallen, Down in the Dumps, Robot King...AMAZING!
Try Bruce Dickinson the Tower live in Brasil scream for me Brasil video
You should try listen to Carry On by Angra. With André Matos on the vocals. It's incredible.
It's brilliant. Check out the live version in Pumpkins United video. Now you have heard the original, please give the Lovebites version a listen. Thanks again gentlemen.
I used to call Helloween "happy metal" back in the day. That's hilarious that you just said this is a happy sounding song too...it just reinforces my initial thoughts from way back. This song is definitely not a bathroom song haha! Are you guys going to get your mom back on the channel again? Maybe for the song that wins the poll? That would be fun.
For my suggestion, here is some more power metal...this is Stratovarius with the song Destiny (ruclips.net/video/sKYE6nROaNM/видео.html). Cheers!
Glad I’m not the only one that calls them that!! Haha! Shes been asking when we will “invite” her back. We will definitely have her back on the channel 👍 -Ethan
Please react to Millennium Quest by Hibria, a power/speed metal band from Brazil. That album is a concept album about defeating evil tyrants. It’s awesome!
Also , Tommy Johansson of majestica and sabayon cover this song , check it out

Good afternoon from London. What a great song and a great reaction. This song really does pack a punch and having those bass and drum solos just is the cherry on top of it all. I envy you both as you have over 30 years of excellent Helloween to sift through. Check out Sole Survivor: ruclips.net/video/cUrTH8XQXZI/видео.html , you will love the drums, this is with their new singer, who has been with them now for over 20 years lol. Also you could check out Push from them, this is a very fast and powerful song: ruclips.net/video/9MM6ja0ixQc/видео.html . Have you heard of a band called Gamma Ray? It was formed by Kai Hansen the lead guitarist on all those songs you have heard and who wrote I want out. Check out their song Lust for life which is simply brilliant: ruclips.net/video/hcfJAPGe3Wg/видео.html . Thanks for taking the time to do what you do, you do it very well, thanks for sharing, take care and have a lovely weekend.
Thank you so much for the excellent comment 👍 Have a great weekend Natasha! -Ethan
now go see cover of this song by Lovebites, it's simply better than the original
Lovebites version is just a cover. Cover always remain a cover. 😏
As the song that introduced me to Lovebites... I have a soft spot in my heart for the cover. Better? No. Awesome? Yes. The dream is for a Helloween tour with very special guest Lovebites and a cross-band thing going on for this song at the end of the show.
That, and I'd rather hear "Shadowmaker"... even the numbskulls running FOH at Bloodstock can't stop them from a killer performance.
If you like a band that keeps meeting and exceeding expectations, Lovebites is for you. If you like a band with energetic drums and a band that keeps up, Lovebites is for you. Also, if you haven't done "The March of Time"by Helloween... :D
@@toddwilliams8128 totally agree with you. Love the lovebites cover. They are great band with great talent. But to compared apple to Apple between a cover and an original is not fair esp for a 30 y old song .. for sure the production is better and those who make the cover can add up here n there..will it make it better? Not to me.
For me , I think Tommy Johansson's version is the best because of his vocal captured the spirit of the song and adding his own guitar lick in the song . That's why I love it.
