    Jake, I know this video is kind of old, but I want you to know I felt like you spoke straight to me. I'm an overweight 40 yr woman who wants to live my life to the fullest, so I just went looking for for anything close to martial arts... and i found you. I'm so glad I found you! I couldn't do all the kicks (not yet anyway) but I really got my sweat on! Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!

    been on a "break" for about 3 years now. i'm kept away from my Dojo by shame alone at this point and it's silly. used to be one of the best students, helping other, striving to give my fullest to set an example but getting back in shape alone is hard. the luck of motivation is more crippling than the pain.
    thank you for posting this video

    Hi! I'm almost 19, I'm too shy and I have no strength... I do love seeing this kind of videos and I had a class of Judo in school and it was amazing... Should I go for it, knowing that I'm too shy and sensitive?

    • @GalaxyBone
      @GalaxyBone 8 лет назад +13

      +TheSophiaLautner Even though this is kind of a late answer, I think you should go for it :) Martial arts is good for you! Both physically and mentally

    • @meganculpeck4379
      @meganculpeck4379 8 лет назад +10

      I am shy like you, I have been doing karate for a few years now and it has helped me a lot. For one it has helped me physically by getting me off the sofa and doing exercise and at my organisation I go to they keep the lessons fun and entertaining but serious at the same time. Secondly doing a martial art has helped me build my confidence. Thirdly it has helped me mentally (I don't know how to describe this part). It is worth giving it ago hope this isn't to late but meh. +TheSophiaLautner

      @fairytonashly1582 6 лет назад +3

      Hell yeah! You ask? Martial arts is the best in so many ways. Don't restrain the amazing and mesmerizing feelings just because you are shy. And sensitivity will go away once you are strong enough and gain stamina. It's a late answer, but you must go. (Or had gone, perhaps)

    I love you!! You're so inspiring and strong and cool, and this workout was absolutely perfect and evenly balanced. I've taken a recent interest in martial arts and your video was a huge inspiration for me. I often feel overwhelmed with long workouts that are just non-stop physical with little breaks, because I get emotionally tired about half way through and give up. But by doing those stretches and calming breathing moments of active rest in between, not only did it keep up the momentum, but I felt so refreshed and strong throughout, physically and mentally. I don't know how long it's been since I actually felt strong. Thank you so much! You earned a new fan and subscriber!

    This is one of the best workout videos I’ve ever come across, perhaps the best so far. It has just about the perfect intensity level. I’ll be sticking with it from now on. Thanks!

    Really nice video, thanks a lot! I've been doing karate for 20 years now but I'm stuck at home without a dojo so I do my training at home. I had to adjust some of the jumps so my neighbors below me won't hate me, but I'll definitely do this again. I especially love the speed and not knowing what's next, so you gotta stay alert and focused the whole time

      Haha, 11 months later and I still do this workout at least once a week before work (and other stuff the other mornings). By now I know what's next so I can squeeze in a few extra reps here and there :D

      Fredrik Wahlgren I think because kung fu is from China. I'm doing karate and we count in japanese.

      Dave Domian To each his own I guess. And I really don't mean to sound judgemental, as used to train kung fu myself, and people did the same there, and I didn't really think about it too much, but as a grew up I just started to find it a bit strange. Nothing bad about being a bit strange though. :)
