Nice of the hydraulic tank to hold on until you got it back to the shop instead of completely falling off on the trails.
I have nothing but respect for you working a full time job pulling people out and working on wreckers 👍
Recoveryteam, Eric the old Girl still needs some TLC but She's still a Workhorse. I think that Wrecker should be in a Museum. God Bless
There is a Truck/Transportation Museum in Auburn, Indiana. The wrecker would be a great addition!
Hey Eric,
Thank goodness Mara knew that tank should not be hangin down like it was.
Work Safe, Be Well
Yeah that would have been nasty if it totally fell apart and got rolled over by the tires......
@Stratos53100 it'd just drop the amount there is slack in the hoses, maybe another 6 inches or so
Thursday morning adventures from BSF Recovery
That wrecker needs a COMPLETE overhaul!!!
14 years + of use and abuse will do that to anything.
Goodmorning to All
Good morning BSF. Glad it was an easy repair and not being a replacement. I would wonder about the angle iron on other end, holding tank up like that. 😊😊😊😊😊😊
Well, at Sand Hollow you said you wanted to remove the tank to relocate the pick up tube to a more central location. This was the time…
He actually needs to move the tank to the top side of the wrecker bed.
Looks like it should hold for a long time... again! Might want to keep checking, from time to time, on that front angle to make sure it doesn't take the same path as the rear one did. Good job Eric!
Eric; you should build a shield/skid plate that surrounds the hydraulic tank on the vulnerable sides.
Thanks Eric.
Looks like You brought the Top Kick inside between takes LOL...
Mike M.
Hope he is fixing it!
Nice to see Eric using a guard on the grinder! No other RUclipsr seems to know how! Mike from @TrailMater had a close call a few months back, but I guess it will not be until someone gets really badly hurt or lose an eye that the others will take notice!
Well everyone else runs a 6 inch disc on a 4 inch grinder
Ya but no safety classes 👎🏽
Damn Eric I thought we were going to relax tonight. Oh heck who am I kidding you don’t know how to relax.
How is the Front of your Tank..?
There had to be some Force on that for some Time..?
Tighten Once, saves Twice the Time..
Glad you Fixed it.😎👍✅
Great job Eric.
Good Morning BSF!!
Repairs enough to keep her working, few more when ya get a chance to... Hard to keep heavy duty down, lol! Thanx !
Gday guys
Yep, working a 40+hr/week job and working extra hours at home, while making videos can get tedious (and you can get a little cranky from not getting enough sleep). It would be nice to get an Engine Sponsor, to see how well a different (Sponsored) V-8 would do, in the wrecker.
Great video
keep the clips coming
Excellent video! Thanks for sharing.
Better check the bed to frame mounting when you were jacking the hydraulic tank up the bed was lifting off the frame a little min 12:30- 12:50.
Great video enjoy watching keep up the great work
Great job. Thank you 😊
Currently parked next to TOWBIE at Walmart haha
Good you didn't have to take the tank out
❤ the channel!
Good eye noticing that.
Lighting upgrade is needed.
You need to get a trash bag from one of the gang in Utah. I pick Trail Mater as it is a wrecker too. And his Old Blue.
The beast😊
Definitely 20 more years
Dome on Eric, those Santa glasses aren't doing a thing doe safety.
Smoke wrench to the rescue.
Eric do not forget to paint the exposed metal brother :)
Curious about the old Jeep truck . Must have missed episode if you mentioned anything about it already
Several episodes, it is Blondie, Mara's recovery truck.
20:34 this comment is to help you beat that darned algorithm
use a treated 4x4 and it will go in . use force
👍
👍👍
Put some money in the thing poor thing is trashed out
Now weld them nuts to the angle iron so the next time you fix the tank it will be a 5 minute fix instead of a 20 minute one.
use that off road jack as intended pull the pin and raise the the foot of the jack then put the pin back in and stop using unsafe block stacking
First!

I really like your show. But I worry about you guys who don’t take 10 seconds and put on safety glasses while using cut off wheel or grinder. I worked with OSHA and in a split second your life can be changed forevermore. Plus what are you teaching your
No people who watch your show. What if they loose their site cause they followed your example. I’m not trying to be a smart Allie I have just seen results oof not working safe and it isn’t pretty. Again in just a blink of the eye you could stop being able to do what you love and we enjoy.
