Congrats, Captain Mike. Watching this boat come together has been super interesting! Sorry you had all the headaches and hold-ups that came along with the pandemic shortages. I definitely enjoyed seeing the hull and the top cap come together! It really shows the turning point of turning fiberglass into a boat! Tight Lines!
To many great episodes to narrow down to one, Shane and the boat building was amazing to watch, however all your vendors seem to be the best in the biz, the plumbing and the wiring is art work, LOVE LOVE the boat, very excited to start watching you fish it!! Congrats on a stellar job building this world class boat and for around that $100k mark is the cherry on top.
This was a very long journey but well worth it. Those guys built a lifetime boat, just how I would build it, properly. They put in the time, live and tenderness, engineering and professionalism into every step. No corners cut. On this sea trail, the boat looks plain but if people only knew how solid and indestructible it is compared to those dolled up over expensive boats out there. Now you know you have a real beast and a friend below your feet and it will keep you safe from all harm. I would like to eventually know, as will a lot of other people, what was the final cost breakdown so they too can attempt to venture down this road well traveled by yourself over a year. There is a sense and level of pride and accomplishment you feel when you do something like this, something the filthy rich will never feel because they don't have to care about cost or even how a boat is built. Nothing like the satisfaction of a custom boat build to suit your every and specific need for personal and professional use. The nice thing is, you can always keep adding stuff and pimp out your ride as your finances allow you to. At the end if the day, the results matter. You have a real workhorse, that will not stop, will not give up, will never let you down, will out perform mist boats in its class and even some out of its class. A charter workhorse and a personal pleasure craft, the journey is not over, it's just begun. Thank you Captain Mike for taking us o this journey with you and all you have taught us over the years about fishing and boating. Stay safe out there on the water and keep those lines tight.
Congrats Capt Mike , I did follow along and enjoyed the videos and learned about the work that went into your build. I really enjoyed the episodes that focused on the live bait and the pumps and the intakes to supply the live bait. Your experience showed on this build and every thing from the bait wells to plumbing and electronics. So enjoy and good luck with the future 29’ 👍 Cheers Capt, 🤙🏻
Whoa.... so cool Capt. Mike. Congrats! Can’t wait to see the T-top and all your gear fishing. As for what was the best video of the 28? Honestly, all of them. I learned so much watching.... they helped me with my build/restoration. Gave me ideas.... helped me plan my next steps.
I watched every video, because I like the channel but also because I was redoing my boat during the same timeline. Glad you are complete and congrats. I went to college in Miami so every time you go out I mostly know all the spots. Congrats to your wife for letting you get on the endeavor of planning a build. Felicidades Papa!
Wow she is a beauty. Congrats Captain Mike. I have thoroughly enjoyed this entire series. If I had to pick a favorite part of the build, it would be you discussing what you wanted for your live wells and how the team really came through and made it happen. I llok for to seeing more. By the way have you named your boat yet ?
Foaming in the big ice-box, the way you planned it, but also insulated it I thought was top notch, that was my favorite episode of the this build. !!! nice boat
OUTSTANDING Captain Mike! Fantastic journey from beginning to sea trial. As crazy as it sounds, the episode where you laid out the vision and the plan, and why you wanted the specifics. Good Stuff my friend....Good stuff!
Really cool brother... I was intrigued by the electrical instillation and how tightly clean and easy to understand the wiring components and electronic are put into the boat...wow!
Boat looks great, nice and clean setup. Fave episode was the shell, cool to see locals building for locals. Great shop and everyone involved was informative. Thanks for the uploads in the process! Tight lines!!
I enjoyed the electrical rough/trim the most. That dude did a great job and made it look easy! Congrats Mike the boat is awesome. Now get us some fishing videos!!
Congrats.. that an amazing boat! I actually loved the details and your attention to them.. like the rod holders and holding out for the display you really wanted. Love the way your electrical is organizes too!
I followed all the videos of the boat build, I cant pick one because all are interesting, can’t wait to keep on learning with all your videos, thanks man.
Hey Mike, My favorite video of the build has to be this one, boat turned out awesome... I learned a lot following the series and look to restore a 23 seacraft potter hull one day. I admire your attention to every little detail that went into this build. Can't wait to see it catch some fish. Congratulations!
Wow, what a journey. As a builder by hobby, I thought the whole build process was pretty cool. The lamination process, the foam filling and the detail that was put into all the hatches. Also I found it very interesting to see the sea chest as your sea water pickup. That's exactly what we use in the navy. It makes sense to keep your pumps submerged and cooled at the same time. I was with you the entire way and glad to see you are finally on the boat. Are you still considering the top?
Congratulations Capt Mike. What a journey it has been. I enjoyed every episode, every step of the way. There wasn't a favourite one as each one blended into the next. But the finished product, absolutely amazing. Tight lines and happy fishing. Best regards from a sunny South Africa
Mike, I really liked the rod holder installation video. I never thought so much attention would go into that process but it totally makes sense now! Great job with the video progress along the way and congrats on the final product! 🤙
Congratulations on the new boat. I'd argue that the electrical work done by kraken marine was by far and away the best episode. After spending countless hours redoing the wiring on my last three boats, I'm a bit jealous to see everything so well payed out.
Congrats on the launch! Awesome boat! Have watched every episode. The nonskid was my favourite episode. Awesome to see a build with so much thought put into it and quality components. I just launched my build this week too after a 5 year build time so I know how excited you must be. I hope you have heaps of fun with her.
Hands down, the wiring episode. Congrats. I also bought a CC (Proline 240) without a T top and later found one off of a Century 3200 and it fit like a glove.
I like all the videos in this series it really opened my eyes as to what all it takes to build a boat from start to finish. I am an electronics guy so I enjoyed watching the wiring and simrad installation videos the most. It turned out great congratulations on the new boat.
Well done bro. Big respect from Bermuda. Favorite video was the plumbing. Definitely was a lot more going on that I expected. Glad you running on the water now. I’m gonna go outside now and work on mine!
I like the episode you came up with a custom cooler compartment and showed how they made it happen. Glad the boat is everything you dreamed. I found you a couple seasons ago when I was trying to learn cast netting. Watched all your vids since...I've caught plenty of "Shrimp for the Barbie" ( we actually call them Prawns).thanks to your help :) Amazed at the simularity between Florida and the Gold Coast here in Sunny Queensland, Australia. Will try and get over there one of these days and book a Tarpon charter..on my bucket list. cheers mate
First boat documentary for me. Each episode was packed full of knowledgeable. So inspiring, I just couldn’t wait to see the next episode. Captain Mike, A special thanks to you for always being a positive influence for others to see. May GOD continue to bless you and keep you safe on the water.
Mike, I liked all your boat build videos but, my favorite is this one, EP 28. I actually felt joy that you are living and finally realizing your dream. The joy you felt with your wife must have been astounding! Now I will like to see your fishing skills and your thorough enjoyment with your family and friends. Thank you for using your skill and heartfelt sincerity sharing this experience and all your videos with us. Well done!
All of the episodes were super interesting to me, because I have a 27 aqua sports that I need to do some jobs on it and I have learned a lot with all your videos. Glad you finally finished your boat, enjoy it and good luck 👍. And thanks again for all your videos.
For me was the neatest of the electrical installation, it looks ridiculously perfect, I am happy for you and Valerie for finally enjoying something that both have worked so hard for...I'm looking forward for those fishing & cooking episodes to come !!! Sail away captain
By far the best episode besides this one would be episode 24. That Mercury will not disappoint. Great choice in power. Once the motor was hung, you could really see the finish line. Can't wait to see what's in store in the future.
Hey Capt. Mike, much deserved congrats!! It turned out awesome! I very much enjoyed enjoyed the electrical work done by Kraken marine. It’s absolutely beautiful. Cudos to him & you for choosing him. Tight lines!
Wow, first of all congratulations captain Mike for having your dream boat finally in the water. All episodes was really enjoyable to watch that boat from the beginning to the end all this guys work on your boat to get it ready for us to enjoy watching you fishing before you enjoy your dream boat . Now iys the time for you you to make alot of fishing videos so we can learn and enjoy fishing with Captain Mike.
Congrats on the boat! Looks amazing! My favorite episode was #21 - wiring. Not only does it look great but in the event something goes wrong it is nice to have everything labeled and easily accessible. It is amazing how far these electrical systems have come over the last several years. Hope this brings you lots of enjoyment on the water!
Congratulations!!! It seems like forever when you announced that you were in the market for a boat. I can imagine how long it felt for you. Loved every episode of the build. My favorite was probably when the cap went on the hull. It started to take shape there. Hope to see you out on the water.
Glad to see you out on the water. I can imagine how you must feel after this process. Congrats. I liked the whole video series. Showing what it takes to build a custom boat. My favorite episode if I have to pick one, is probably the Simrad, or maybe the sea chest. Either way.
Way to go Mike! Congratulations to you and Val, lots of memories to come. My favorite video is the rod holder lay out. Made me realize I need more rod holders lol. Seeing your boat float for the first time really hits home and takes me back to when I bought my first brand new boat 2 years ago.
Awesome “take us along for the ride” series Mike. I’ve watched all the videos and until today, the rod holder installation video was my favorite. Maybe that’s because I’ve installed quite a few myself in some of my past boats (11 and counting). But today’s video where you’re now reaping the rewards for a lot of work, takes the cake. I guess it’s my personality of “now that you’re here nothing else matters anymore”, I just want to enjoy the fruit of my labor. Anyway, congrats brother. Now let’s FISH!!
Congratulations. It's good to see you back on the water. I liked when they stuck the fuel tanks in, the deck, the live wells, the cooler and the transom mount for the motor. I have 2 questions; why don't you guys use 2 motors and why don't you install buoyancy into your boats? Both are safety requirements in RSA. Because offshore boats with 2 motors can bring you back if 1 fails and the foam buoyancy of 60% will make the boat unsinkable if she gets flooded and the electrics fail. We also have a system we call a wet deck to allow the egress of water than may flood or get onto the deck.
Congratulations Captain Mike. I like all the episodes but I really like the episode when the boat pop out of the mold just because I did know how a boat hull was made, and the last episode to finally see your dream boat come through, I hope one day I can build a boat like yours, cheers! Salud!
Congrats Captn Mike. My favorite episode was the live bait well episode. Where you maximized your space and installed the large live bait well. Once again congratulations on your boat and the series enjoyed them all.
Congrats Captain Mike! The boat build came out amazing! I really like how you focus on the little details that make the boat functional for your needs on the water. My favorite video from the entire series would have to be the wiring video. I have myself a project boat and one of the next things I’m considering taking on in this project would have to be the wiring of the entire boat. This video has giving me ideas of how to tackle that project and giving me inspiration to do a real nice clean job with the wires. I hope you enjoy your new amazing boat!
Congrats on the completion. Its an awesome boat for sure and I can't wait to see some fishing videos out of it. My favorite progress video was definitely the fuel tank installation as the process was very interesting.
I think I liked this episode knowing how good you must feel getting to take out your new boat! That has to be an awesome feeling. They have all been very informative. Thanks for taking us along. Now let's go fishing!!
Congratulations looks great all episodes have been good and frustrating as my boat re-build isn’t going as nicely as yours lol it looks great hope it performs as good I must admit there were a few ideas I have taken and put to my boat that watching your videos made me pull the trigger on insulation on fish box pressurized live well and definitely more rod holders and custom switch panel
Very happy for you Mike. Lovely boat. I enjoyed the early ages, seeing the hull manufactured. The whole process was very eye opening. Thanks for all your hard work keeping us in the loop.
Awesome boat!! Been watching the whole series and the episode when you were having the boat wired up was the best for me. They did an awesome job and it was so clean and a neat job! Great craftsmanship went into all of the build! Congratulations on finally getting out on the water!
The episode where it came out of the mold. It was like the birthday you never forget. Just thinking of how you have the chance to have 100% input on how the boat will be custom crafted to your specifications. Beautiful boat. I know I am envious.
I know your excited to be on the water in your new boat and I'm very happy for you, its been a very long year with everything that's been going on. I really don't know how you did it ! ! ! I enjoyed the whole boat build but the one thing that I enjoyed most was the wiring of the boat. That guy that did the wiring is a true artist of his craft for sure. That is the neatest wiring job I have ever seen ! ! ! ! ! A true pleasure to watch him work ! Not to diminish any of the other craftsmen that worked on your boat because they were all very good at their craft. You were very lucky to have had them all do work on your new boat for sure. You are a blessed man for sure Capt. Mike ! ! ! ! !
Yesss! I pretty happy for you right now! Awesome to see the boat finished and you back on the water. I followed the whole build. I actually liked the installation videos the best. The stainless marine Bracket was cool to see installed. Also the way Latitude does their non-skid was pretty sweet! Can’t wait to see some fishing videos up from the new ride! Tight lines! 🤙
Capt Mike, this moment is long overdue and most anticipated , Congratulations on the new boat build and now we can get those fishing videos we been missing, to pick a favorite build video that's a tuff one I liked and watched them all, but if I had to choose I'd say the enlarged live well in the floor or the water circulation pumps or yep bringing the guys at LTB Krispy Kreme Doughnuts and the shop shut down, now that was sweet,,, lol Anyways weather i win or not enjoy the new boat and we'll keep watchin,,,
I loved the video about the rod holders. Just purchased a 23 seacraft and the previous owner patched all the old rod holders while in restoration so I have a completely blank canvas. Very informative
The best part of this boat built series would be the episode where you installed the fishfinder. Want to build my boat one day and seeing how easy it is to set up a fish finder gives me hope of catching more fishes in the future 😁
All the episodes were awesome, but I especially enjoyed the Wiring episode, and all the tools and techniques he used! That Milwaukee crimping gun was awesome
Congrats! beautiful build! watched the process, wiring is sick! Kraken marine he is the man! learned a lot from the videos. Will keep watching. LTB Dooper is a great guy. Nicest guys around.
Congrats on getting her on the water! I liked EP21, the electrical install, nothing says quality and attention to detail better than clean wiring. Enjoy brother!
Absolutely loved the build series videos! A series on a 29 SeaVee would be epic. Loved the rigging videos and especially the wiring job. All the craftsmanship looks top notch. Tight lines
A much earned congratulations! Mike we adore your content. Our favorite regarding the build of your boat helped us pick our own boat! It especially was the rod holder addition. We appreciate you and first learned how to work a casting net due to your educational content. We would be proud show off your awesome Reel Reports hoodie🎣🙌🏼
Congrats Captain Mike!!!!! This has been a fun series to watch & follow!!! I can't wait till a fishing video with your boat comes out!!!!!! I can't decide which of the 28 episodes I like best.
First let me say congrats cap its been a long road ! lol my favorite episode is ep 28 you finally getting to sea trial your dream boat HOW AWESOME !! But every episode has been very informative & intriguing too me, I learned alot about the fine details I never kinda thought about.I really think the episode when you got the pump, the badass sea chest, that thing is so cool with the reel reports on it !! but that's me. I found your channel a while ago & it is awesome from learning to throw a cast net ,to fish battles on the beach with friends almost getting struck by lightning hiding under the lifeguard stand to boat shows, your a really cool dude & have great content thanks for all the informative stuff ,tight lines cap keep it up 29 seevee let's gooo
Beautiful boat Capt. Mike. I thought when they layed up the hull was the most interesting. It was cool to see them move quickly but with precision. Happy for you!!
I really liked all of the wiring and rigging episodes, They did such a neat job, Looked like NASA engineers put it together!! I watched all 28 episodes keep me sane during early COVID months!!! Thanks
"There Ya go, all Done" "Put the motor on there" 😜 Episode 7, Installing the motor Bracket was probably my fav. What a fun, and informative Boat Build series. Congratulations Capt Mike! Always Looking forward to the Videos. Keep em comin ✌🏾
Having an older boat I’ve learned a lot through your process! All of the episodes have been chocked full of knowledge and learning for me. I appreciate the wiring by Kraken and the thought process put into the rod holder placement! I don’t think I would’ve ever given as much thought to angles and location as you did! I’m taking notes!!
Episode 28! Finally got to see the final project and I was actually considering getting a boat built for me. This was a great experience not only for you, but me too. I’ve learn so much during time and excited to see you start fishing again. I love the Simrad system. I love it so much that after watching episode 26, I went and purchased the 9inch for my boat. Thank you and look forward to the next video.
Glad to see the boat in the water!! My favorite episode was the wiring episode! I do customs wiring on handicap vehicular so it was cool to see someone else making a wire set up look good!
Congrats Mike to you and all of the craftsmen involved with your well planned and execuited build! I enjoyed the whole series, the most important episode and my favorite is the “Sea Trial” shakedown. Game On, Tight Lines!
I liked the whole series, but I think my favorite episode was pulling it out of the mold. Got to see what it was really going to look like. I also loved seeing all the time they put into the fine detailed work of the hull. Congratulations on finally getting the boat out on the water. Tight lines!
That is a true dream boat! So clean. I need to go back and check out the other vids. Just bought my first boat (2006 197 seafox). Congrats on that beauty!
That boat turned out great. My favorite video was the install of the rod holders. To me that carried a pucker factor of 8! Man you would hate to drill in the wrong spot!!! Can’t wait to see more fishing content. Got my eye on the 29 seavee if my future too! Tight lines Bud!
Congrats Mike. Been fun watching the build take place. My favorite was watching Corey from Kraken Marine do his thing on the wiring. As a 12volt guy for 30 years it's truly an art when it's done right and a matter of life and death if it's done wrong.
Congrats on finally getting on the water! She a beauty! I’ve enjoyed them all. The attention to detail throughout the build has been phenomenal! It looks like nothing was short changed. I think if myself or someone I knew was going to do a build I would recommend your blueprint! Awesome job Capt. Mike!

Congratulations looks great all episodes have been good and frustrating as my boat re-build isn’t going as nicely as yours lol it looks great hope it performs as good
I must admit there were a few ideas I have taken and put to my boat that watching your videos made me pull the trigger on insulation on fish box pressurized live well and definitely more rod holders and custom switch panel
Capt Dave,I think best videos are first and this episodes are most meaningful vids, what counts most. Love your black and silver power plant.
Capt Mike, this moment is long overdue and most anticipated , Congratulations on the new boat build and now we can get those fishing videos we been missing, to pick a favorite build video that's a tuff one I liked and watched them all, but if I had to choose I'd say the enlarged live well in the floor or the water circulation pumps or yep bringing the guys at LTB Krispy Kreme Doughnuts and the shop shut down, now that was sweet,,, lol
Anyways weather i win or not enjoy the new boat and we'll keep watchin,,,
I loved the video about the rod holders.
My favorite boat build episode is this sea trial episode. Ready to get back to fishing!!!
Congrats! beautiful build! watched the process, wiring is sick!
Tight lines

Thanks
Awesome news you finally have the new boat on the water. Must say I liked the install of stringers (Ep 3).
"There Ya go, all Done" "Put the motor on there" 😜
Episode 7, Installing the motor Bracket was probably my fav.
What a fun, and informative Boat Build series. Congratulations Capt Mike! Always Looking forward to the Videos. Keep em comin ✌🏾
I enjoyed all of your videos but I learned alot about the tank install and needed the info.
Game On, Tight Lines!
whole build videos were great. episode 11 when pieces started to come together was pretty cool to see. enjoy it man
The rod holders for sure!! Small details most take for granted. All the ones you have look like they grew out of the gunwales!!
I liked the whole series, but I think my favorite episode was pulling it out of the mold. Got to see what it was really going to look like. I also loved seeing all the time they put into the fine detailed work of the hull. Congratulations on finally getting the boat out on the water. Tight lines!
Congratulations !!!! On the water awesome !!!! Favorite episode was all of them with Shane he’s a wild man.

That is a true dream boat! So clean. I need to go back and check out the other vids. Just bought my first boat (2006 197 seafox). Congrats on that beauty!
Congrats Mike!! My favorite video was the bait wells! The thought that went into them, the planning and smart use of space!
Man I tell ya what, I think I enjoyed watching the guys working the fiberglass more than anything. Crazy how good some guys are at it.
Boat came out amazing!! My favorite video was definitely the wiring video!!
Congrats on the boat. For me the start to finish of the boat build its amazing how you put your heart and soul in to the boat build

Congratulations Mike, you deserve it. Enjoy. I definitely enjoyed the electrical and wiring episodes.
This is the best vid. The final product, you'd think it was Christmas morning. Congratulations your hard work has paid off. Now go catch some fish!
I liked the beginning builds but they all are good 👍🏻
I watch wavey boats all the time cant wait to see you fly through there in that beast
Mike!
