I wonder where this is? I'm guessing Australia, by the way the workers are dressed. I was wondering why the fence was built with the hedge plants on the outside, where they couldn't be accessed, but I guess those must belong to the neighbors on that side.
I think it was to separate the property from the neighbors. I'm guessing the boundary was where the fence was erected. Those shrubs probably belonged to the neighbor.
I can't be certain but it looks like the poly sand wasn't fully removed and the stones got stained when it got watered in. That's why i hate that stuff.
Are you proud of this result? Try to convince your clients that a garden is not a desert of stones! The garden looks nice at the first sight, but the only " landscape" are the trees in the back of the garden. This is not a garden, but a playgrund, surrounded by some beautiful plants. :-(

They are located in Canada.
