Ей приятел, за да научиш четене на български език, просто ЗАБРАВИ за произношението на буквите от английската азбука. Когато виждаш "а", не казвай "ei" а просто "а" like a "ah". При буква "и", не казвай "ai" а само "i", like a "e" or example "(i)nternational". Когато видиш три букви "iya", четеш за "ya", like a "(ya)mmy" or "(ya)rd".

And a VERY important thing is... Bulgarians would appreciate it very much if tourists try to say even basic words in Bulgarian (I spent my childhood near Sunny Beach, I know what I'm talking about) . It's a HUGE difference between people in western Europe who tend to laugh at accents and demotivate foreigners who try to speak their language. Bulgarians appreciate it instead!

as a bulgerian i'm so happy, cause more and more people talk and learn bulgerian, i've said the nice stuff now i'm gonna say everuthing else. English was pretty easy to me but i guess bulgerian is more complicated i dunno, it probably is. Every language seems complicated in it's own way and there is nothing wrong with something being hard if it's important i can't express my feeling right now in words i'll try endless happiness is the thing i feel right now seeing so many people actually wondering what that little place called bulgeria is on the map

actually we don't shake our heads up and down for no and aside for yes .... -> up is no down is yes but shake aside means i don't know in most cases or i am not sure but depends on situation could mean either yes or no

I am native bulgarian and live in Bulgaria. This video is so much fun. Iva tries to educate people in bulgarian by saing her name in bilion different ways. hahaha While the correct approach is to learn the words and sentences.
Bulgarian is very straight forward language.
You should start with numbers first. 1 = One = Edno, 2 = Two = Dve, 3 = Three = Tri ...
And same or similar words like Hotel = Hothel, Motel = Mothel...
Sunny Beach = Slynchev Bryag = Слънчев Бряг

"Bulgarian"is a mongoloid version of Macedonian language. The alphabet they write in, just like 300 million slavs, is Macedonian, from Macedonian saints st. Cyril and Method, every single word from the alphabet is with Macedonian pronunciation. When the alphabet was invented, 9th century Bulgarians spoke Turkish language.

First it was the Old Bulgarian language aka Old Slavonic language (9 century) then it was the rest of the 252 million people that are based on our language with their Cyrillic alphabets ,FYI Wayne. That been said Russian sounds like Bulgarian not the other way around!
