This is what makes me most proud to have married into a Vietnamese family, and that I have learned these recipes to pass to my Vietnamese children. ❤️🥲
In Vietnam, for Goi cuon, we usually roll the rice paper without deeping into water before because when we roll the rice paper with fish and rice noodles it do caused a little bit wet on your rice paper so that we could eat it in its entirety without too wet as we dip the sauce.
i love how you and your family still continue on vietnamese cuisine and intergrate it into your daily life even if its not the easiest or convinient dishes to make

I would go over to my friend’s house and her mom would make it every time she knew I would be over there because I loved them so much the first time I came over. It's easy to be a foodie if you have all that awesome food on your table. Good vlog! It's cool that your love for food is generational. How far back in history do some of the dishes go? The reason I ask is my friend from northern Thailand shared pics of a family reunion at her grandparents home. One pic has 4 generations preparing the meal at a huge wok. The wok has been there for generations. So impressive. Her food is amazing! She'll tell you that all the food recipes and methods are handed down from mom to daughter. Thanks for sharing!🍜🥟🦞😊

my grandma makes the best chả giò. it’s egg rolls, if you didn’t know. they are so addicting, you could eat like 10 and still want more because they taste THAT good
Day 12 of asking Lisa to make chicken Molè Steps incase 😌: Generally speaking, moles are made of at least two types of Mexican chiles, some kind of sour ingredient (e.g. tomatillos), sweet (e.g. sugar, fruit, or chocolate), nuts and thickeners (e.g. peanut butter, bread, tortillas) and spices! Please consider making this if not it’s fine but I’d like to see it ☺️
