@@retroryan838 The initial launch titles for the Famicom were "Donkey Kong", "Donkey Kong Jr." and "Popeye". "Tennis" did however get released very early, about half a year after the Famicom itself had been launched.
played this together with my mom back then when I was 5 years old. really enjoyed it. we even held a little contest with the whole family by playing this game.
+Philip Doctor Actually, it was released six months after the Famicom first came out (Famicom--July 15, 1983; Tennis--January 14, 1984). However, it was one of the launch titles for the North American NES in October 1985.
Reminds me of that I-Mockery review of a rom hack. All I can see is the word B|tch in my head whenever the ref says something. Might be talking about me, because I actually remember I-mockery *shudder*
I saw a lot of your NES videos and liked it. But this one, probably not. CPU always double fault? Were you cheating? I wonder if you cheat in other NES games too.

You admit to using save states? Just because it's Level 5? It's a longplay, not a how-to-win showcase. Play an easier level, so we can actually see how the game works. This run is disgraceful.
That CPU character is the most incompetent server in all of Tennis...
It was 1983 CPUs were still new at the time and especially since this was a launch title for the Famicon it’s understandable.

This game was hardcore back in the days kids. So many struggles.. hehe
I got to level 2 one time...
Game play is extremely good for a 1983 game. awesome. Good old days .
After a few attempts reaching the last level was easy then the game took it to bloody impossible levels. Damn that last level...
I don’t remember the computer playing faulting so much
Tennis for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) from 1985 (the copyright says 1983), is based on the arcade machine titled Vs. Tennis.
Because it came out in 1983 in Japan 😊
That referee is Mario with a white hat lol
The title music is the same as Baseball.
Why Always Double Fault?
+Sheikh Ahmad Shah Because he was using cheats like game genie, obviously
That computer is a double fault Machine.
If you're gonna use save states, don't use the CPU never scores cheat. Disliked. At least do a proper longplay. Oh well.

ностальгия!!!
Really, using cheats? Such a cheap attempt at a longplay.
Does anyone know how to really smash the ball when you return it? Thanks!
$100000 prize? reminds me of the vacations, yachts and car prizes in wheel of fortune for nes.

Good old 80s nothing like old school nintendo and sering mario all.ovet the placev
there was a short lived time when I hated tennis because of the faults and outs, but now that I'm used to those rules, I LOVE TENNIS.
I remember batman for nes but I was born in 1991
DarkNight Joker I was born in 1991 too.
I'm 38 years old and I like to play it sometimes with my wife or child.
- Eu tinha medo desse jogo por causa do Mário sentado nesse banco e esses sons bizarros que ele fazia 😅
Mario does it all. lol
Why cpu always fault failure?
You win $100000 in NES Tennis. What will you do next?
+user1point0 Go to Disneyland.
Esse não é o level 5 que eu conheço. É mais forte, mais rápido e mais ágil que isso. E não erra todos os saques.

lol tennis for the NES is horrible (my opinion)
It's not. It was fun back then.
well the gameboy version is better
You're allowed to like one more than the other. But to say one version is horrible, that isn't needed.
