Thank you for your humility in posting your mistakes. I'm planning on doing a similar project in a crawlspace. Excavating first is a delay but absolutely necessary to access certain areas. This and other life events put me behind schedule, so now I'm in winter. I was thinking I could do 2 out of 3 temperatures, but you've changed my mind. From your video, I've decided to hold off until the ambient temperature is warmer. Thank you so much for posting.

Bummer 😕 Could I ask, with such limited space, and nicely spaced, clean floor joists, why didn't you just use regular R-30 batts ? 🤔 I had the same problem on a stone foundation in my 200yr old Maine farmhouse because even in summer, those huge stone slabs stay pretty cool. I had to run an industrial propane heater the entire time I was spraying, and it was in July...lol. We learn this way, but unfortunately that stuff is not cheap. You didn't fail. You just learned another way not to do it..... I always say......
Good question. I was originally going to use batts then when I realized how tight the work area was decided it would be easier to spray it so I wouldn't have to worry about keeping the batts up and protected from critters etc.
Never heard of that brand before, but good to know! Unfortunately (after only a brief look online) it doesn't look like it is readily available here in Canada.
Ya, not my finest hour. I thought having 2 of the 3 temp requirements being close would help me (substrate & tank temps), and that having the air temp being colder would mostly just mean a longer cure time. I didn't realize that the cold air temp would have such a big impact on the chemical reaction and quality of the foam. My bad

Handi foam is better covers way more I do it all the time

Wear goggles when you are spraying this stuff, especially spraying overhead!
