I had explant surgery with Dr. Chun one year ago. I chose Dr. Chun because he is able to remove 100% of the capsule tissue (the scar tissue that forms around the implant.) I was extremely ill for 14.5 years from my textured saline implants. I needed the best chance for healing. After my surgery, my fibromyalgia was gone! The capsules must be removed, too, not just the implants!
Within a few months after getting implants, I started getting digestive problems, acid reflux. Eleven months after getting implants, I had to have my gallbladder removed. Eighteen months after getting implants, I got fibromyalgia. I had so many symptoms. I gained about 65 lbs. My neck was curving forward from the weight of my implants. I had extreme fatigue, short-term memory and word recall problems, so much more. I just had mine removed thank God. Dr did not know what was wrong with me. I have gained 30 pounds over the past 3 years and cannot loose the weight unless i starve. I have brain fog, dizziness, headaches, fatigue, bad random vision, heart problems, food allergies developed. I dont drink or smoke or do any drugs. I eat super healthy eat organic and still feel like CRAP. The only different thing about me is implants. Finally after praying and praying to God to pin point my problem i had a dream that my implants were causing me so sick i couldn't leave my bed. I learned two things in life God answers prayers and two Breast implant ILLNESS is Real. Dont put toxic bags in your body.

Then I happened to talk with someone who bought this to my attention. I differently believe this is what’s going on. I’ve had mine for 37 years then about 5 years ago everything in my body tasted going haywire with no answers. I’m grateful I found this information. My dr.just couldn’t understand and treated me with more pills which aren’t helpful. I would argue with him some things he’d say I had when I knew I didn’t. I’m 70 years old so this isn’t going to be easy. I kept telling him I was drying because that’s exactly how I feel. I’m getting them out as soon as possible. I cannot remember that last time I felt good it’s been soooooooooo long. Please send me your prayers to help me get though this, I’m not young but I’m not “that old”.

Is there a doctor in the Atlanta, Georgia who would be comparable to this doctor? I wish I could travel to Newport Beach and use Dr. Chun. However, I would fear flying back after a week.
Got implants removed in November 2023, they don't removed the capsule. My breast was swollen itching after 15 years implants. In March I was diagnosed with anaplastic large cell lymfoma
ALCL involves the capsule so must be removed. Since you won’t get the diagnosis until after the surgery in most cases, I always remove the entire capsule every time during the initial implant removal surgery. That way, regardless of the diagnosis, you are done in most cases as long as there is not already a distant spread.
My breast are hurting like when I was Breast feeding, they look and feel bigger than when implant was still in. Breast feel engorged. Brought this concern to my Surgeon Dr. OLACK and he didn't put drains in after explant. I'm concerned fluids are building up making infection. The doctor isn't concerned. More reason I feel he doesn't and didn't know what he is doing.
