Same here. I was nearly 42 years old when I realized what a sick maniac my mother is....and always was. She had normalized her pathological misandry to the point that even I believed it, until I dated a woman who showed me what a normal, healthy family unit acts like and how they treat each other.
Its not just in the black culture. I am a white woman & my mother has hated me since birth. My mother has been absolutely HATEFUL and abusive to me my entire life. I cut ties with her years ago. In addition, I too have dealt with other people hating on me as well & all I do is mind my own business. I stay to myself 99% of the time because I dont trust or feel safe around others.
Same here, I had to drop my mom because she kept calling the police after she drank too much and telling them I beat her up, even if I hadn't been to visit her. Most of the time, the knew she was lying g, beat up people usually look like they were beat up. Haha! They still had to take me to jail , though. I've got a heck of a record, for someone that literally is too paranoid to break any laws. When the whole Karen thing came out, I was like, holy crap!!! My mom is a Karen! LOL No contact is the only thing I can do to protect myself.
My mom told me she hated me cause I look and act to much like my dad! Had a really bad bicycle wreck at age 11 and also got hit my a car in the same accident. Visibly my front teeth were knocked out and my right hand was clearly broke and it was kinda hard to breath but it was Saturday and Children's hospital was 45 minutes away from us. She told me to go play and she would take me to the dr Monday and that I was gonna live, unfortunately, she added... Sunday I was in bad shape throwing up white frothy stuff, passing out, in a lot of pain and one of the very few times I dared cry in front of her. I begged her to take me to the hospital cause I don't think I've hurt like this before! She was pissed and on the way she told me if I wasn't really hurt then I would be before we left. Then she told me to dry it up before she really gives me somethin to cry for. I prayed to God for real to please let me be hurt so I don't get hurt worse. My skull was fractured needing pressure relieved with a tube in a hole in my skull. My kidneys bruised bad enough they were bleeding, live had a tear, ruptured spleen, left lung completely collapsed and right one on its way to fully collapse. Dr's told her they didn't think I was gonna make it thru the night and that I was bleeding out internally from multiple locations. When they found out the accident was the morning before they were not happy at all and called child services on her. We lived in Ontario, Canada at that time. She was bawling and saying my poor baby gonna die then wailed away putting on a show before i was rushed to the operating room and I had to sit and watch her be so fake thinking maybe I won't wake up and just be done with her. I guess i was crying and asked the nurse at my head that I know she hates me don't remember nothin else for a few days. I had 4 surgeries in 2 days! From that moment till today at 47 yrs old I've had a deep disgust and despised her with a passion! I was able to petition the court and was granted full emancipation at age 15 and from a judge who had only granted a few in over 20 yrs and all were 17! I was told I should expect to be denied and consider letting my grandparents adopt me. My dad's parents, and they were pretty much my mom and dad and I was referred to as son by them. We were really close until they passed away. My dad and uncle's resent me for it till this day... I cut all them off years and years ago and still realizing what all they have actually done and why... My sister isn't far behind her!
Same. I've been reclusive for almost 3 decades due to abuse from almost everyone especially my mother. She excepts me to sleep on the floor if I visit her because she doesn't want any beds in the house other than hers. I don't ever visit her because I'm not sleeping on the floor like a dog. Also I never call her. She lives only a few miles from me...I stay away. She's 80 now and karma is hitting her health. My sister lives with her and she can take care of her and my mother's evil husband because I never will. My sister is just as messed up too.

I was 37 years old when I realized that my mom had been actively working against me since the day I was born. My life was pretty dark back in the beggining I often thought I wouldn't survive my childhood.
This was some very real shit for me! I praise you for speaking the truth and putting it out there. Though I know very few, I love people that tell it and say it like it is. I remember the first time That I was told to watch out, because there are parents out there that don’t want you to succeed and do better than them. I was sitting a college philosophy class at the age of 21. I could not even fathom what the professor was saying at the time, it was just so evil and unfamiliar to me, that my mind did not want to accept what he was saying, I’m 56 now, and although it has been a hard pill to swallow. I have come to the realization that most all of the females in my family do not have my back the way that loving family members should. It hurts so much, but It is a sad reality. It has been this way most all of my life, and I didn’t even know that subconsciously my mind had found a way to deal w it. I have been using cognitive dissonance all of my life to excuse the hurt and pain that I have experienced. The mind is an unbelievable organ,it is our protector, our survival mechanism kicks in and takes over, and we do t even realize it. But my eyes have been opened, my mind is free and clear. I’ve been clean and sober for a year now on May 23rd. It is the best gift I’ve ever given myself, I feel better than ever, family can be your best friend and your worst enemy. It gives me chills to speak of these things, but the things you have said, and the way that you speak the truth cannot be denied. Thank you Brother. Even though the carrier (my so called mother) don't want to tell me how she truly feels about me her actions does. My mother had me at 14 and I am 59 today. She tried every demonic attack & then some against me from the day I was born. I used to always be the one who brought the family together, she was always the one to keep the family apart. She would scandalize my name to my husband, kids, other family members, and even my employer. Best believe whenever she was in need who did she call? I would always help her with drug debts, food, clothing, medical, housing, transportation, and financial needs! That's the only time " I was a success in her eyes." This is my mother. And everyone loves her because she’s so good at being fake. She tuned everyone, including my daughter, against me. Beginning from when I got my first job at age 14 my mom started charging me rent to "teach me responsibility" because thats how her parents raised her. Once she even stole money from me, and acted like it wasnt a big deal. I fought against her charging me rent the whole time while she repeatedly threatened to kick me out if I didn't comply. Really she just wanted me to suffer the way her parents made her suffer. Took me years of healing work to recover from this. Moved out many years ago and have never looked back.
My mom was like that but I didn't live with her after the age of 14. Her parents took over parenting for me and my older four siblings. She moved in with her mom and her jealousy of me started showing. She would steal my car keys and take my car or let my sister's drive my car. She stole money from me, used my children on her taxes (years later). When I was pregnant with my first child she said, "I wish it was a tumor in your stomach". She is a real witch.

Truth! They hate you because you did what they could not. They hate you because you are everything they are not and wish they were. It sounds extreme, I understand. It took me 37 years essentially to figure out my mother is and always was my worst enemy. The pure hatred and toxicity that she oozes with every word she speaks, is scary. I watched the movie Matilda the other day, and was triggered, to say the least. I feel like that movies main character would resonate with a lot of chosen ones.
It's true. All of it. My parents used to be my friends, but as time went on and I look back, there was a lot of red flags. I can't talk to any of my relatives because I can't trust any of them and they usually have to bring up my mom or my dad as if I'm not my own person 🤦 Yikes. My mom actually told me this. She told me she was never half the woman/mom I am and then tried to destroy in any way she could. Even stole my identity and tried to destroy my credit. I just met my dad this year at 28 and I was always told he didn't want anything to do with me to find out she didn't allow him to have any relationship with me. My mom literally told me not to pursue my career and goals as an artist, writer and visionary and to just get a job. She told me not to do it, she said I can't be successful like others. I even had an opportunity to be a part of writer's workshop for some famous individuals and she told me not to do it because you can't trust people. I was 100% grown at the time but I let her negative talk keep me from doing it. She doesn't respect me as an adult and never supported anything I ever wanted to do in life and none of the things I wanted to pursue was bad at all. She's always speaking down and negatively on my situations but I'm taking that power from her and she will never stop me from reaching my destiny and no one else will either.
Ohh my goodness 😢 this is my life story. After I graduated I wanted to continue doing writing opposed to getting hired in an office. She fought me all the way and I evwlost my spark. Its such a long story, but I totally relate. I am busy picking the pieces with her still in my life. I eventually faced her and told her to stop belittling my achievements, she slips from time to time. But I am glad I started my journey of healing.

Then one night I had an intense dream from God " My mom and I were at a fast food restaurant ordering food at the counter I'm paying and she got pissed off at me for no reason 🙄 and she started betraying me and was yelling the most evil things out about and at the same time I was scared running around using the Holy Spirit to show people God uses me but mom's betraying me at same time and people were looking at me like why would she say that." And then I woke up and prayed in the spirit 🙏and the Lord gave me an interpretation and he told me "to let her go because he can't take her where he's taking me " sometimes you do have to let even your mom go... Abraham left his family ... How can you use your full potential if you don't let certain people go!

My narcissistic mother definitely treats me like this on a daily basis, basically since I came out the womb. I’m 37 and she feels like we’re in competition. She just basically copying my style. I’ve had my nose pierced for 7 yrs now , last month she goes to get hers done. I get a closure with body wave hair, she does the same. I’m just tired of her we got into a nasty argument a few days ago and I was soo mad I told her I hated her. There’s no relationship, no connection with her. I have no feelings at all. Had a really bad bicycle wreck at age 11 and also got hit my a car in the same accident. Visibly my front teeth were knocked out and my right hand was clearly broke and it was kinda hard to breath but it was Saturday and Children's hospital was 45 minutes away from us.
She told me to go play and she would take me to the dr Monday and that I was gonna live, unfortunately, she added...
Sunday I was in bad shape throwing up white frothy stuff, passing out, in a lot of pain and one of the very few times I dared cry in front of her.
I begged her to take me to the hospital cause I don't think I've hurt like this before! She was pissed and on the way she told me if I wasn't really hurt then I would be before we left. Then she told me to dry it up before she really gives me somethin to cry for.
I prayed to God for real to please let me be hurt so I don't get hurt worse.
My skull was fractured needing pressure relieved with a tube in a hole in my skull.
My kidneys bruised bad enough they were bleeding, live had a tear, ruptured spleen, left lung completely collapsed and right one on its way to fully collapse.
Dr's told her they didn't think I was gonna make it thru the night and that I was bleeding out internally from multiple locations.
When they found out the accident was the morning before they were not happy at all and called child services on her. We lived in Ontario, Canada at that time.
She was bawling and saying my poor baby gonna die then wailed away putting on a show before i was rushed to the operating room and I had to sit and watch her be so fake thinking maybe I won't wake up and just be done with her. I guess i was crying and asked the nurse at my head that I know she hates me don't remember nothin else for a few days. I had 4 surgeries in 2 days!
From that moment till today at 47 yrs old I've had a deep disgust and despised her with a passion! I was able to petition the court and was granted full emancipation at age 15 and from a judge who had only granted a few in over 20 yrs and all were 17! I was told I should expect to be denied and consider letting my grandparents adopt me.
My dad's parents, and they were pretty much my mom and dad and I was referred to as son by them.
We were really close until they passed away. My dad and uncle's resent me for it till this day...
I cut all them off years and years ago and still realizing what all they have actually done and why...

This was some very real shit for me! I praise you for speaking the truth and putting it out there. Though I know very few, I love people that tell it and say it like it is. I remember the first time That I was told to watch out, because there are parents out there that don’t want you to succeed and do better than them. I was sitting a college philosophy class at the age of 21. I could not even fathom what the professor was saying at the time, it was just so evil and unfamiliar to me, that my mind did not want to accept what he was saying, I’m 56 now, and although it has been a hard pill to swallow. I have come to the realization that most all of the females in my family do not have my back the way that loving family members should. It hurts so much, but It is a sad reality. It has been this way most all of my life, and I didn’t even know that subconsciously my mind had found a way to deal w it. I have been using cognitive dissonance all of my life to excuse the hurt and pain that I have experienced. The mind is an unbelievable organ,it is our protector, our survival mechanism kicks in and takes over, and we do t even realize it. But my eyes have been opened, my mind is free and clear. I’ve been clean and sober for a year now on May 23rd. It is the best gift I’ve ever given myself, I feel better than ever, family can be your best friend and your worst enemy. It gives me chills to speak of these things, but the things you have said, and the way that you speak the truth cannot be denied. Thank you Brother. Even though the carrier (my so called mother) don't want to tell me how she truly feels about me her actions does. My family is struggling after our grandparents passed away. She’s destroyed our entire family. I’m almost 40 and have decided I’ve taken all I can from her. This beaten and bruised dog is done. No more. Radio silence from here on out. I’m just struggling with it, obviously why I’m here trying to understand how to move on.
My mom is VERY NEGATIVE about everything. You’re so right about everything you said…exactly how she acts. My daughter excelled past me and I couldn’t be more proud of her. There is no jealousy in my heart for her I’m happy she’s done well for herself. But my mom does act like when good things happen for me she hates me more. My Dad is so miserable with her. And she only does this with me. I have 2 other sisters. It’s true she was jealous and they do try to compete. I broke the generational curse. My mom has never had a backbone when it came to these losing ass men she chose. Plays victim and she’s petty, and selfish. I’m the opposite I beat the brakes off my exs ass for putting his hands on me. She’s always put men before me and my sisters. Since I stopped talking to her she hasn’t even bothered to see how I am. My mother had me at 14 and I am 59 today. She tried every demonic attack & then some against me from the day I was born.
I used to always be the one who brought the family together, she was always the one to keep the family apart. She would scandalize my name to my husband, kids, other family members, and even my employer. Best believe whenever she was in need who did she call? I would always help her with drug debts, food, clothing, medical, housing, transportation, and financial needs! That's the only time " I was a success in her eyes." It did take some time, but years ago, I chose to forgive her and cut ties. I really hope your video reaches hurting sons and daughters around the world who need to hear & heal from your message.
This is my mother. And everyone loves her because she’s so good at being fake. She tuned everyone, including my daughter, against me. Hides behind church and the Bible but does NOT behave like a Christian. It’s so sick to watch from afar. I cut ties with her but I’m having a hard time seeing my child go through what I did. My daughter will not believe me. I never had a relationship with my father because of her and now he’s passed away. I’m afraid that will be me with my child. Beginning from when I got my first job at age 14 my mom started charging me rent to "teach me responsibility" because thats how her parents raised her. Once she even stole money from me, and acted like it wasnt a big deal. I fought against her charging me rent the whole time while she repeatedly threatened to kick me out if I didn't comply. Really she just wanted me to suffer the way her parents made her suffer. Took me years of healing work to recover from this. Moved out many years ago and have never looked back.

My mom was like that but I didn't live with her after the age of 14. Her parents took over parenting for me and my older four siblings. She moved in with her mom and her jealousy of me started showing. She would steal my car keys and take my car or let my sister's drive my car. She stole money from me, used my children on her taxes (years later). When I was pregnant with my first child she said, "I wish it was a tumor in your stomach". She is a real witch.

It's true. All of it. My parents used to be my friends, but as time went on and I look back, there was a lot of red flags. I can't talk to any of my relatives because I can't trust any of them and they usually have to bring up my mom or my dad as if I'm not my own person 🤦 Yikes. And yes, they hate me even more especially my mom for improving my life, for healing, minding my own business, not having her in my life at all for almost a year. I couldn't take it anymore.
My mom actually told me this. She told me she was never half the woman/mom I am and then tried to destroy in any way she could. Even stole my identity and tried to destroy my credit. I just met my dad this year at 28 and I was always told he didn't want anything to do with me to find out she didn't allow him to have any relationship with me. It hurt me so bad I don't know how to feel

My mom literally told me not to pursue my career and goals as an artist, writer and visionary and to just get a job. She told me not to do it, she said I can't be successful like others. I even had an opportunity to be a part of writer's workshop for some famous individuals and she told me not to do it because you can't trust people. I was 100% grown at the time but I let her negative talk keep me from doing it. She doesn't respect me as an adult and never supported anything I ever wanted to do in life and none of the things I wanted to pursue was bad at all. She's always speaking down and negatively on my situations but I'm taking that power from her and she will never stop me from reaching my destiny and no one else will either.
Ohh my goodness 😢 this is my life story. After I graduated I wanted to continue doing writing opposed to getting hired in an office. She fought me all the way and I evwlost my spark. Its such a long story, but I totally relate. I am busy picking the pieces with her still in my life. I eventually faced her and told her to stop belittling my achievements, she slips from time to time. But I am glad I started my journey of healing.
I never could let my mom go .... Then one night I had an intense dream from God " My mom and I were at a fast food restaurant ordering food at the counter I'm paying and she got pissed off at me for no reason 🙄 and she started betraying me and was yelling the most evil things out about and at the same time I was scared running around using the Holy Spirit to show people God uses me but mom's betraying me at same time and people were looking at me like why would she say that." And then I woke up and prayed in the spirit 🙏and the Lord gave me an interpretation and he told me "to let her go because he can't take her where he's taking me " sometimes you do have to let even your mom go... Abraham left his family ... How can you use your full potential if you don't let certain people go!

Hypnotherapy is highly recommended, will take many sessions & can be $$$ Find a school where they are looking for participants to practice on so you skip the$$$ bc it’s expensive. 🙏🏽 many blessings 💜

My narcissistic mother definitely treats me like this on a daily basis, basically since I came out the womb. I’m 37 and she feels like we’re in competition. She just basically copying my style. I’ve had my nose pierced for 7 yrs now , last month she goes to get hers done. I get a closure with body wave hair, she does the same. I’m just tired of her we got into a nasty argument a few days ago and I was soo mad I told her I hated her. There’s no relationship, no connection with her. I have no feelings at all. Our parents will be the most difficult to understand the new world. Because they can't comprehend what they don't understand. Sadly envy, jealousy, fear, and negativity are low vibration emotions. As an awaken person we know that these emotions are toxic and produce lack of abundance and happiness. We have to understand most parents, friends or your family members can't support you because they are sleep. They are ruled by their ego, the ego always wants to be right. They're driven by their limiting beliefs of what they think things should be. Sadly this is just the beginning its going to get worst before it gets better. 😕 All we can do is continue to walk in your truth continue on your path.

Absolutely my mom! She is like this with me and my sister, more me than my sister. But she is never happy for our accomplishments. Or love interest because of her failed marriage. I caught on to her, and I do not tell her anything I’m trying to accomplish until I’ve done it. I’ve noticed anytime I use to tell her I was going on a date, or getting something new, or a new job. I end up not getting it or a date be cancelled. Pay attention!

Mannnnnn..this hits hard .my mom has never cared for me I have had problems with my mom since I was 15, I'm 54.. Never supported me when I needed her....i have tried for years to have a relationship with her and my sisters..to no avail....I started doing her hair..I did her hair for four year I and she never once tipped me ..it's too much to text...long story short .she found some else to do her hair..and there has been no contact since. With her or my sister's .

I been praying for guidance. I searched, "why you shouldn't cast spells on your parents.." & this video popped up. I have 2 parents that hate me. 4 whole families, if we include the "steps" & 5 if I count the family of my son's dad. I actually had my Dad on my mind. This was actually a puzzle piece I needed to hear. I'm praying about whether I should reach out or not. My mom was an ordained minister so she made sure that I'd have a fear of speaking to people who are anything other than a Christian 🤦🏾♀️.. I renounced that faith, I've cut off all members 100%. When you talked about the girl who's mom was jealous of her relationship with her kids.. even more made sense. I'm trying not to do anything spiritual against them because I am not them. I don't want the emotions I have from the trauma.. idk 🤷🏾♀️ how to fix it yet without hurting myself at the same time.. I don't want to hold hate for them, in fact I really want to hit delete on both of em and forget 😢

So I started doing what I love which is not a 9-5 but I’m great at art and photography but never can just receive her support. I’ll tell her about an opportunity and the 1st thing she say is, “ are they black” and rolls eyes. Racist against her own people and wants me to be. I’m moving away in a few days. I’ve been having dreams that its the right thing to do so I can start to live for me and mines.

This year was my breakthrough year I’ve never realized why my mom never spoke up when my narcissist father put me down every chance he got and yes everything you are saying is true never spoke up for me in times of crisis always thought it was weird she had no friends as well. Used silence to drain my energy and always questioned my character and what I do to get by without zero help but either parent but with God all things are possible. 🙏🏾
Been going through this all my life and just thought something was wrong with me … never felt good enough… I’m 24 now and I can’t even make friends or find a partner because I am hurt still… I just can’t see how anyone could love me and the woman who God chose for me , doesn’t even love me.
