ich find das nicht schnell. Es gibt Videos von leergeräumten e36 die die gleiche Zeit schaffen. Schau wie weit du bei den Zeiten der Nordschleife runterscrollen musst, bis du einen bmw siehst

@@hsgshshs8017 gib ein auf youtube bmw e36 m3 btg. Das erste Video ist einer mit serienmotor und der fährt eine 7:13 btg also ungefähr eine 7:30 für die ganze runde

wow so much faster than last gen. imagine a m2 with this engine. mid 720's would be possible. they did a good job on the car as a whole, not just the engine which is a beast but the chassis is way better for sure. Bmw is back

@@francescoschettino5726 7:18 end of 2012 with a GTR Track Pack but it weights equal if not less depending on the M4's options. GTR also has a power advantage. According to the Manufacturer the min weight on a GTR with Track Pack is 1735 while the M4 is stated at 1775. max weight the M4 is 190kg heavier. I dont think the comparison is any feasable
@@francescoschettino5726 I did weight my F82 but it has a few lightweight mods and very sparce options at 1595kg empty tank guess standard it be around 1650kg emtpy tank, the New M4 is substantialy heavier, though i havnt seen one on the scale yet.

Herstellerangaben sind immer fake.
Man muss ein Auto volltanken und wiegen
damit man die Wahrheit sehen kann.
Beim Supertest werden die Autos immer vollgetankt und gewogen.

I just wanted to confirm: this is a rear wheel drive car, is that correct? I know that the production on the all-wheel-drive version is about to begin or has already begun but even if this is an all wheel drive Car, this is amazing! This is only 9 seconds slower than my purpose built Project 8!

Based on the "Setup" screen, this car does not have the 4wd option.
Will the AWD (AKA xDrive) help with the times?
It already beat the GTR from the dig, I want to see what it does around the Ring also. (I owned Godzilla, and now a M4x)
I believe that in slow turns, where the 2wd is prone to tail-fish and thus, forced to slow down by the traction control system, the M4x will be able to maintain a higher speed at exit and punch it, putting all the power on all 4 wheels. What do you think?

Indeed a full second faster than the QV. Except the Alfa didnt have Michelin Cup2 track tyres. It had OEM street tires. So this proves bmw have really lost their game, if the new M4 needs track tyres to beat the 4yo QV with street tires by 1 s.

I just checked the C63 AMG did it in 7:44 and the RS5 took 7:58. 🤣🤣🤣. BMW M POWER ALL THE WAY!!
The other two on normal tyres. Not cup 2, it is normal to be faster because is newer.
C63S was 6 years ago (!) and not on cup 2 tyres. I expected the new M4 to be well below 7:30 min. Not impressed at all.
Its the All new m4. The other one are old models🤦♂️

@@roespeloes Uhhmm... The AMG GT 63s did it in 7:27 on Cup 2 tires in an attempt conducted by AMG themselves. Imagine this M4 doing the same lap with preparation and one of their development drivers. It would have been at least another 5 seconds faster. And if you take the AWD version G82 M4 it would be even faster than that. That is impressive no matter how you look at it.
And the tire is not even a Cup 2R!!

You’re a good driver but your shifting is to offensive. Don’t always need to go in revs as high as possible.
It’s slower than the previous generation M4 GTS by 2 seconds. I think the CS or GTS version of this M4 will be blindingly fast!
Not to mention the M4 GTS is 300kg lighter and is a limited edition for 160k.

Not really. Sport Auto lapped the M4 GTS in 7:37. This is the better reference. The time you are talking about was done by BMW themselves with all the preparation and a different driver. Those manufacturer submitted times are always faster than SportAuto.

@@jojajo2707 schalte mal die Lautstärker ein, das klingt doch wie ein Stufenloses Variomatic Getriebe, also mir gefällt es nicht. Passt meiner Meinung nach nicht zu einem "Sportwagen"
Meinst du weil das gepröttel fehlt?
Für sportliches Fahren muss ein Getriebe weich schalten, damit du keine Lastwechsel auf der Hinterachse hast wenn du am Limit durch ne Kurve fährst.

@@KandiMan Stock means stock car/chassis -irrespective of tyres! No road legal tyre can disqualify a car from the stock status. In fact manufacturers do offer different delivery tyres to different markets and sometimes even super soft tyre compounds as an option.
@@pierrena3420 I agree with you. I’m curious to see how it does since that’s what comes on the car here in the US. At this point, Cup 2 makes sense so we can see the difference between RWD and AWD on the same tires.

Why is the M4 so much slower than a GT3 for example? Same power but 30 seconds is huge
$30000 sequential transmission, $20000 suspension, 500kg of weight savings, better breaks, racing tires. It's just not about horsepower
+ aero parts that increase grips
The GT3 also costs twice as much

I love how a brand new coupe juuustt beat a 6 yr old Giulia Quadrifoglio by 1 second, with probably 50hp & tq more. Haha. The Alfa chassis was/is superb. The ride/compliancy are amazing. And the steering feel is just so much better than the BMW. And let's not even discuss the beauty and the beast factor. But yeah, no one cares.

...and it's only rwd, the M XDrive version do 3.1 0-100 with only driver, it maybe make a difference with the times.

Wahnsinn, was die aus dem Eisenschwein rausgeholt haben. Sport Auto hat „leider“ den Spritverbrauch nicht ermittelt..: Testfahrer meinten aber, dass der mit 59l Tank nur 4 Runden schafft. Zu fett halt und vieles mit Power kaschiert.
Nur warum wird der auf Cup 2 getestet? Verkauft wird der doch mit Pilot 4s, oder?
Gibts ab Werk als Optio so, also kann man den auch so testen

For a production car, that is extremely fast on that back straight. For reference, the 2017 ZL1 managed a little over 170 mph vs the m4s 180 mph
