My fav is Mercedes. But I do love Porsches. There not the fastests car, but around turns and gravity. Porsches bends to nobody. That GTS 3 RS. Doesn’t stop moving on straight aways, turns or corners. GTS3RS is a moving machine.
The 5 seater Plaid S with Track Pack @ 125,000 $ - is only 30s slower. That's insane.
Only ????? the plaid has 1000hp and still more than 30s slower so it’s just show that the grip difference is just insane

Excellent drive. This looks like the same car used by Jorg Bergmeister (corrected name - u for e) - when was this test driven, the video time stamp shows 19/10/2022 (in other words a time cherry picked by Porsche for an optimum track surface temperature) - which is around the time Jorg set his time. (1) Is this a customer car or a Porsche factory car (2) Were tire warmers used at any stage? (3) The MAHA dyno result at the end is odd - a 992 GT3/RS/991.2 GT3 RS fitted with this engine makes substantially more than 400PS at the rear wheels. (4) Was the car at factory release ride height, rake, camber, caster and toe? I note Kevin Estre did 6:56.4 in a 991.2 GT3 RS and 6:49.6 in a 991.2 GT3 RS MR. I also note the average lap speed at the Nurburgring is very high ~ 160kmh. How will this car perform on a circuit with a much lower average lap speed e.g. where aero tends to be much less effective. How does this car perform on its delivery tires M Pilot Sport CUP2 - typically the difference between the CUP2 R and CUP2 is around 1s per minute.
It’s a Porsche factory test car. Sport Auto also always does suspension geometry measurements in their super test, so you could look there for the answer to that
@@PaganiZondaF650hp Yes I realise that 😀, but as I don't subscribe to Sport Auto I was hoping that Christian would provide some answers to the questions I posed. Keep in mind that Porsche made a number of attempts at laying down a bench mark time and failed to deliver one for the cars release. In fact, they waited for very specific track and air temps to post a time - it very much looks like this was filmed at the same time with absolute optimum conditions and quite possibly set up by the Porsche factory team under the guidance of one of their top drivers. It should be noted whilst this car goes well on very fast circuits in the hands of Porsche factory drivers e.g. Nurburgring, Spa Francorchamps, Silverstone on the more typical slow to medium paced technical circuits it doesn't do so well. The point being, as aero matters less and less as speeds drop it behaves much more like any other ~ 500HP Porsche on CUP2 R tires and certainly within the accuracy and precision skill levels of most "club" or track day weekend warriors.

Auf der Nordschleife war die Zeit vom AMG_ONE sehr schlecht.
Der schaffte nur eine 6:35 Minuten.
Problem ist beim AMG_ONE der Panzer wiegt 1700 Kg und
das Getriebe ist Müll.
Nicht schlecht. Aber der TESLA PLAID ist natürlich nochmal schneller mit seinen 1.000PS+ !

So this is a clear demonstration of down-force ; barely any under-steer at any speed for the entire lap...Also , prove's you don't need crazy power to dip under seven minute's due to said down-force....530hp and the time achieved is mind blowing....Well done Porsche this car is a machina!.....PS: this guy can drive too.

hast doch unten rechts die ganze Zeit das Bild vom GPS-Racetrack eingeblendet was genau mittig der Frontscheibe sitzt.

Porsche is it - and Chrsitian Gebhardt is the man - best tool, bigger balls, better times - finest German engineering - kudos! And the add-on: you can buy this car and go on public streets. Not too bad:)) But children, don't try this at home!!! I held my breath almost for the entire lap, staring at the brake-indicator.

Need better camera placing
Teilweise sogar noch Zeit liegen lassen. Schwedenkreuz geht z.B. mit 230 km/h, wie man in anderen Videos sieht. Das Auto ist jedenfalls absolute Speerspitze, irres Teil.
Und das mit 525 ps da können sich anderen sportwagenhersteller eine scheibe abschneiden 😮😮😮sehr sehr gut gefahren
Man muss aber auch bedenken, dass kein anderer Hersteller (zumindest bei grösseren Herstellern) einen so radikalen Sportwagen baut. Beim GT3 RS wurde nahezu alles einer schnellen Rundenzeit untergeordnet.
@@DodgeChallenger426 ist auch ein rennwagen ist nicht gemacht für beschleunigung oder topspeed eher für die rennstrecke 😊

Why 10 seconds slower to porche's official time? Christian's gt3 time was also also about 10 seconds slower that porche's official time...Do the official drivers just know the car better and know where the exact limits are or the cars also have some different settings( camber, toe, tyres etc )

Metzgesfeld mit minimal 189 km/h ist auch respektabel, da wurden 1,95 g gemessen. Und damit neuer Rekordhalter bei der Querbeschleunigung.
Wo ist das Problem? Das erwarte ich von ihm auch bei der jahrelangen Erfahrung und Streckenkenntnis 🤷Andere knallen mit 80 downhill über Steine / Wurzeln und legen Menge Sprünge hin.... Wiederum andere berühren im hangoff mit der Schulter fast den Boden und ziehen dabei Streifen in der Kurve.
Geil, und ein Dyno auch gleich noch am Schluss. Solide 💪💪

ich hätte da mal eine Frage, ist das die gleiche Runde die Stefan Bellof damals im 956 in 6:11 gefahren ist? Und anschließende Frage, kann man sagen was der Unterschied wäre von dem Michelins zu Slicks? Ich finde das so unglaublich wie schnell 08/15 Straßenautos geworden sind. Insane!

Aside from the Carrera GT1 perhaps, there’s no street legal stock Porsche capable of running sub 8 min, let alone a ‘weak powered’ GT3.

Schnell, schneller, GT3 RS. Nur der AMG GT Black Series war bisher schneller, aber dieser hat auch "dezent" mehr Leistung bei ebenfalls starkem Aeropaket.
