He must get them from the same place as the Incredible Hulk. He'll split out of his shirt, his gloves, his socks, his shoes, even his glasses... yet his pants always remain intact.
It is bullshit because on the scene before this, the pilot almost fires at civilians cars . Then John moves this empty bridge . It is gold because it is goddamn cool .
One of my fav action scenes. This was my introduction to Hollywood movies. I still remember it's craze when it got released in India & the theatre announced a spcl discount for it.
When his superiors found out he survived an encounter with John McClane that pilot got a medal. No more questions about how he lost a fight with a truck were asked.
He was absolutely great also in Armageddon, The sixth Sense, Red, The expendables 2, Hostage, Bandits, Unbreakable, 12 Monkeys, The whole nine yards, Looper, Blind Date & Moonlight
It is amazing how they made this scene so much believing, even though it is clear that is was created using computer imagery. But the make-believe act is fantastic. Kudos to the director!

But there is context for this: Bruce willis is being hunted down for extermination because he was deemed the greatest terrorist to ever attack the country.
I don't think I'll ever understand the hate this movie got. Sure, it's a PG-13 Die Hard movie, but it's still very well crafted with some exciting action set-pieces. The fifth movie, A Good Day to Die Hard, is a steaming pile of crap.

In the first three movies, John was a man who could clearly get hurt, in this movie he becomes a superhero. This movie was almost as bad as the fifth installment
Logan Blanc You hit the nail right on its head. In the first three McClane did some crazy things but not without showing some vulnerability. He was clearly scared of jumping off a skyscraper, or fighting on the wing of a plane, or surviving a train crash. In 4 and 5 he's like a one man army of destruction and he's got this I got it under control type vibe going for him. Not to mention that he would never go after the bad guys, but he would leave it to the pros to handle. Not so much here since for some reason he tells the kid there's no one else but him who can save the day.
It is amazing how he single handled all the bad guys plus surviving a lot of explosions with just minimal injuries. And it is pretty amazing how authorities finally came to help when all the bad guys are already dead.😅😂😅

This scene shows why Die Hard was really at it's best in the 80s and 90s. Len Wiseman has no idea what made John McClane such an incredible character. This guy is doing crazier stuff in his older age than in his younger years. Die Hard was over for me in 95.
F-35 doesn't have 2 machine guns under the air intakes, it got just one in different place. The jet should have dived nose down and crashed immediately after losing its vertical blower fan.
Also, not to mention most fighter aircrafts have low number of rounds but high rate of fire Almost every modern fighter can't fire for more than maximum of 3 seconds so they have to use it judiciously to not waste it
It's simple what they've done. They went all the way in with action, making John look like some fearless superhero-like action figure. The movie sold well, looked different than first three movies, but eventually it ended the franchise, because where do you go from here? You go nowhere from here. It looks like one of those unrealistic fast and furious GTA inspired scenes. And the next movie they made was so bad, nobody remembers it.
I get a real uncharted feeling about this movie and mcclane. And how I'd like a uncharted movie to be.thia sort of thing is what Nathan drake does in uncharted its epic stunts.
