I'm about to cut chicken wings right now for my video hahahaha! I've never did it before and I figured if I'm going to make a video on making chicken wings, I should look like I know what I'm doing. Thanks for the vid, def helpful!
omg, i butchered the wings, cut right thru the bone :( I'm not posting this video and i feel like I wasted a ton of chicken. It was a learning experience, but I just had a hard time finding the joint.
Stephanie Manley I'm a low carber, so no breading. I put them in a foil lined baking pan and sprinkled liberally with Slap Ya Mama cajun seasoning. They're currently in there for about 40 minutes at 375. Then I'm going to turn them and put 'em back in for 20 - 30 minutes until the skin becomes crispy. Then out for a bath in Louisiana Hot Sauce and butter.
Thanks for posting this quick and to-the-point video because I have my chicken on the cutting board and just wasn't sure what to do! Luckily yours was the first video I watched :-D
The trick is finding the joint. In college I cut up more chicken than most people will consume in their entire life. I used to work in a restaurant that didn't want to spend a lot of money on processed parts.
Thanks for this video, I just wanted to make wings for my family. I am mourning the loss of my infant son and I feel like he really would have liked this recipe
May your cooking speak your soul. I hope you find joy in your cooking bringing people together and I hope you find piece through such a difficult time.
I found this video AFTER I threw bone shrapnel everywhere trying to cut these in half. It took me a good half an hour to do 10 wings. At least now I know for next time haha.
LOL, when I heard her say that I rewound to check, and whew, she is actually smacking the knife with the palm of her hand, not the back! At least I have proof I was paying attention... 😁

I know this is 10 years old but seriously? You threw away food because you didn't cut it right? Fucking hell, I hope I misunderstood.
Thanks for the zoom in on the wings, very helpful! Super Bowl wing prep time now!
I use a power miter saw, it works really good, even gives the chicken a tasty sawdusty like taste.
+Raging Machine how interesting.
Tasty sawdust... sounds too intriguing.
I think he was trying to say sharpen your knife and it will work much better.
Thank you so much! Me and my boyfriend are making chicken wings for the first time and we were lost til we saw your video!

Stephanie Manley I also put the flippers in the slow cooker with some water and vinegar overnight to have some broth for some vegetable soup tomorrow.
Anytime, I look forward to checking out your video.
I seriously thought hot wings were made from little chickens. Thanks for setting me straight!
Nope ;)
💯 I felt so freaking dumb 😂
Thank you! Short, quick, and to the point 😉
This is what I was looking for and you make it look easy. I am trying this today! Wish me luck!
Donna G I hope it turned out.
Thanks this will work for me! Salutes from Mexico
I am so glad I watched this.. I won't buy the "wingettes" again. I couldn't use my hand. But a mallet on the back of the knife was perfect. Thank you!

Nice, clear explanation. Thank you.
Many many thanks as this tip worked a treat, I now look for the high ridge of the wing & with one slap of the cleaver...presto it's done.

Good deal, it is really easy once you get the hang of it.
Thanks so much for this! 😁
thanks for the tip, but I'll use the palm of my hand to smack the back of the knife...if I use the back of my hand, I'll probably injure a tendon.
guitar78ish Thanks for the tip.
LOL, when I heard her say that I rewound to check, and whew, she is actually smacking the knife with the palm of her hand, not the back! At least I have proof I was paying attention... 😁

I hope your wings turn out great!
Yay!!!!
Kaylin Watchorn I hope you liked your hot wings.
I love your wings babe
That's so hot!
Took about 20 minutes for 4 lbs. :( The little end part was easy, the middle part was not.
Oh god no, why in the HELL did you cut off the wing tip (or flapper)? That's the tastiest part.
The cringe is so real
I'm confused as to how a channel teaching how to make hot wings is cringy? lmao

That knife routine you're using is very dangerous you're better off with a pair of poultry shears
If that's knife flip on you you're going to get severely cut
