Made these wings for dinner tonight and it was delicious! I used fresh garlic instead of the powder because I was afraid it might be to salty. And I deep fried them instead of the oven. And it came out amazing!!! Thanks for the recipe. 😊

Tiffany Wishropp I am very happy you enjoyed it! Garlic powder is not salty, garlic salt, well that's salty ;) I keep both in my pantry, I don't want everything to taste like a salt lick.

My reasoning was this, people may undercook the chicken, and secondly someone people were concerned with the amount of fat in the recipe, not frying it I thought was a way to reduce the fat.

In Italy, the parmigiana treatment is given to eggplants, not chicken or other meats. Italian immigrants added deep-fried meat cutlets or meatballs and doubled the CHEESE.
Melanzane alla Parmigiana - Killing the Myth of Chicken Parmigiana's Existence "Chicken Parmigiana" being an actual Italian dish.
    - 3 aubergines (eggplant) - 500 gr of tomato sauce (1 garlic clove and 1 onion + 4 tbs olive oil) - 100 gr of chopped up fresh basil - 3 mozzarella cheese - 150 gr of Parmigiano Reggiano
    Enjoy!

Why the hell would she wash the chicken thighs?
Washing raw chicken before cooking it can increase your risk of food poisoning from campylobacter. Splashing water from washing chicken under a tap can spread the bacteria on to hands, work surfaces, clothing and cooking equipment. Water droplets can travel more than 50cm in every direction and only a few campylobacter cells are needed to cause food poisoning.
Washing raw chicken is more or less a misconceived notion, boo.

I don't know about the corn starch, some people thinks it makes wings more crunchy.
