  • Cohabitation is becoming more widely accepted by communities in South Africa. Although it is still shunned by a few, many consider it a more convenient alternative to a legal marriage.

From a logic point of view, the cohabitation idea makes sense. However, my belief system won’t allow ME!

Eye opening. I still don't believe in cohabitation but I think it made me see why people do it.

Great conversation. Thank you ladies❤️ I personally don't believe you need to move in together to determine compatability. I do love the three items listed at the end: finances, compatability and values👌🏾

On compatibility, I can definitely see how you are able to establish that via other means like activities, quality time and the like...

Cohabitation has never made sense for me as a woman, mainly because I wanted to delay having to cook and clean for a man for as long as possible. Now it’s for religious reasons as well.
I truly enjoyed the conversation though and love this channel. Keep going ❣️

I find it interesting how we have such high expectations from romantic relationships and if they arent met, we bounce. The truth is we get frustrated in any cohabiting situation, with parents, siblings and even the best of friends, other peoples habits eventully irritate up but we get angry, we fight then we survive it. But with romantic relationships, we just leave. We as this generation honestly set impossible to meet standards in romantic relationships and we stuck in a cycle of failing relationships.
Otherwise, nice channel Ursula and team, its lovely to see fellow Smutsies doing their thang. +1 Sub klean

Great conversation ladies I found this channel through Tiktok, I have done it all, cohabitation before I got married to my ex husband. All I can say is coming from rural areas there is a lot of thing we got through not knowing or fully empowered as a woman. Knowing what I know now I wasn't supposed to even consider having a relationship with my ex. I did it through society standards of a woman should.
Let's make sure we empower our young gals to stop disregarding their own feelings in the name of building a relationship with a man. I like you guest confidence I wish I was like her when I was younger.

Well I myself cohabited for 2years in my mother-in-loves house… so the judgement was crazy. Covid hit and I choose to stay with baby daddy at his moms house. After Covid we got married. I honestly believe if y’all don’t know we’re you stand after Covid 😂 just leave child!!!

I love this show, am very conservative and stubborn too. I understand other people's perspective better in these conversations. But I am very comfortable in what I believe in. They are not me, am not them, and it's okay we are different people.

It's funny how we are letting the government takeaway Men's rights to choice under the guise of women rights.
Cohabitation is mutual exchange without the legal consequences of marriage, the men exchange his resources and time for the women maintenance & support .
If the guy cannt marry the girl, she does have a CHOICE,
It's simply, She can leave , and get another man who will marry her .
She is staying there bcz of the benefits she enjoying, and I find insulting that now when the relationship breakdown, the women is always the victim.
South Africa , we must stop this or WE RISK CAUSING A DIVIDE BETWEEN MEN AND WOMEN.
then u will c how dangerous the world is ?

I love the show and I really like the conversations that you guys are holding but this is Africa we are not in Europe or America, I think sometimes the interpretation gets lost because we don't live on Instagram. the guest said that the guy who would choose vat n to sit with won't devalue you.....that's a lie I'm a guy and once a woman does that it sounds like you are selling yourself cheap....not bashing anyone but I think if I ride you for free I would ultimately devalue as times goes on...
