An off-road 40 min ride on a super jeep and then exploring the majestic Katla ice cave inside the glacier covered by old volcanic ash from Katla volcano. Super cool!
If you're talking about the 26th July glacial outburst, the video was recorded prior to that. This was on June 18. Apparently, 6 days before our tour, the roof of the old entrance (i.e the big ring) collapsed. Which shows the ever changing nature of glaciers and caves.
When was this recorded? I assume it was before the recent event that caused ice melt and flooding that took out a road.
