Your channel popped up among some videos around the time Grindavik was evacuated. I love the complete lack of pretention, no softly lit wistful gazing into the sunset, waffling on about feeling free and at one with nature. "It's a glory hole"... Dude, this is magnificent commentary. I nearly choked on my wine. Love it!
Thanks alot! I'm glad you like it! We try to be ourselves on camera, it can be hard to find 'real' these days! Your feedback means alot. Have a great day!
You can tell how amazing the landscape is through your shots. What a truly unique experience! If I ever go to Iceland I’ll give it a go. What’s the company called you used?
Thanks for watching! The company was Troll expeditions, from Vik. (They have an amazing soup kitchen at the pickup/drop off point aswell) well worth having whilst you're there - it was perfect after a freezing day at the glacier.
Now I know what Glaciers are made of. I’m going back to Iceland mid January, from an Australian summer 😂 ugh, I’m sure I’ll survive, we’re tough 😄😄 Unfortunately I’m not capable of a Glacier hike but I’ll definitely be on the go a bit. Meanwhile I live by watching the stuff I can’t do & enjoy what I can 👊
In January! That'll be awesome with the short days, you can hunt for the notorious northern lights! (Something we failed to find). I'm glad our video helped you see what its like at the glaciers, have a great time in Iceland! (Jealous you're experiencing the Australian Summer, it's freezing in the UK right now.)
In most of the videos I've seen Katla looks like a muddy black trail with one or two sections where there is some nice blue ice that forms a small tunnel. Is this accurate?

How long was the walk from parking to the main Kayla cave ? In miles or time wise ? and was it an easy hike or hard one?
It was about a 20 minute walk - not a difficult hike at all mate.

No. That's like saying the sun is nothing but a light in the sky. There is alot more to it.🤙🏽
