      Hip Hop saved Eminem from Hard Times and even a close death and now in his untouchable status, he is giving back props to it through innovative lyrics and creating beautiful art, and of course, giving homage to the originators of this beautiful culture.

      It's not about paying homage, that's easy. I'm talking about addressing issues in concerns to hip hop but since em so out of touch he doesn't know what's going on around him. For example, he comment on kapernick taking a knee 2 years after fact when the rest of the world was in turmoil at the time. Shit like that is what hip hop comes in handy and eminem is no where to be found when shit hit the fan.

    • @Sneezeaddicts
      @Sneezeaddicts 11 месяцев назад +7

      @steelliving8785 Em has spoken up about Clinton and his affair with the implications, about Bush with the Iraq war and the millions of soldiers involved on an oil war focused on money and inocents dying, he addressed Trump sexualixing women and the controversies around him and in that same freestyle (2017 BET Awards performance - kaepernick incident 2016) he embraced what Colin did and spoke up about Police brutality. If there is one thing that 4 out of 5 rappers say is how Eminem has his ears and eyes always paying attention to everything happening in Hip Hop and around this Country. Not trying to be confrontational bro, but where exactly are you getting this from?

Yes, Em is white but he help blew up Hip Hop GLOBALLY, which in turn made everyone money. Take Em away then take the money away, are you willing to do that from a financial standpoint? My 2nd favorite rapper was Tupac even tho he died before I can remember. I loved biggie snoop Dr dre eazy ice cube xzibit and so many others. My friend started listening to other more unground BLACK rappers. But it all started because we found Eminem. I still listen to EM but I've been into alot of the more current real rap rappers of today. He introduced so many to rap that have done nothing but support black artists. We don't hate benzino cause he went after EM or nothing like that. We hate him because #1 black people like every other race can be racist just like he is. And 2 because all this man has done in his career is to try and cancel EM and not let him get the recognition em deserves. If benzino woulda dropped it years ago we would have no problem with him but he can't EM lives in his head 24/7. Give Eminem is fukkin flowers man damn. You could see how a video of a white dude who’s more immersed in real hip hop culture, taking shots at white rappers who are mostly just political gimmick rappers without flow could be interesting for a reaction channel though right?

    I guess the same can be said about people who don’t respect American culture I couldn’t imagine ancestors moving to another country being given opportunities that they couldn’t have had in their own origins and making a better future for their families generation and showing appreciation for being able to achieve greater things and loving the country even if it was difficult for them they thought it would be good for us and I ended up hating it 🤔 boy I’d be unbelievably grateful for everything that they went through for my future . I like this guy’s honesty

    There’s one thing I disagree with you on. I’ve been a fan since 1999 and “Stan” is my favorite song from Eminem as well. I listened to it when it dropped. The impact that song had in 2000 was remarkable. I liked it before it was commercialized. He has better songs from a technical perspective, sales perspective, and lyrical perspective, but not many with the same impact. It’s def one of his best songs. It’s a masterpiece.
    Stating that as a favorite song doesn’t make you unaware of his less known masterpieces. I’ve listened to everything from him besides the stuff he’s kept hidden. Have dissected his music for decades. Stan has been and will likely remain my favorite due to that nostalgic feeling when I heard it all those years ago for the first time. Very similar to when u heard it for the first time but different bc it was unknown then. The word “Stan” didn’t exist in the context it does today. It’s bc of this song it has meaning. It was a different world then and this song hit different than it does today. It’s a “you had to be there” kind of thing when this song was released…all the way down to Dido herself. I think most long time Eminem fans would prob have Stan high in their list as well.
    U being a more recent fan, I can understand why you would feel like that with someone listing Stan as one of their favorites, but keep in mind u heard it 2 decades after its release if I’m not mistaken (correct me if I’m wrong). Long time fans have experienced all eras of Eminem in different decades. Stan is one of his best songs.
    'Cause I'm just a man
    But as long as I got a mic, I'm godlike
    So me and you are not alike
    B****, I wrote "Stan"

    That has got to be one of the dumbest comments I have ever heard a person make.... don't get me wrong he said he is raising his kids to love everyone and for that if it's true he has my respect but to say he couldn't be a racist even tho he sounds like he is has got to be the dumbest thing and I hope he loses more fans and respect over this.
