Used to go to Skeggy as a kid. I loved it and it hasn't really changed. It was always tacky, and maybe now it is worse, but that's what you go for. The sea was always dirty - it's full of the refuse of Europe and it usually guaranteed a tan whatever the weather. I even had a dirty weekend there once ... all you need is a clean bed and lots of sugar ...
Definitely hasn't changed too much in the last 20-30 years or so! Agreed! Just seen with a different perspective in later years perhaps! Sometimes a clean bed isn't necessary on aa dirty weekend! Can't go without the sugar though!
Nothing wrong with Skeggy. It serves a purpose, and as long as you go there wanting what it has to offer you will enjoy yourself and not be disappointed. It's not posh, not shabby, not going to enrich you culturally, but it will give you a day or two of fun before you get tired of it, and without breaking a modest budget. Which is exactly the same as my thoughts on Las Vegas when I went there too... So it's in good company is it not?
It wasn't so bad.... was it?

Thank you for showing part of England.
You're welcome! 😊
I liked the video. I was attracted by word "worst". New Jersey, USA has their own worst seaside called Seaside Heights which is often called Smegma.
oh that's a great! haha! I've been to Atlantic City, but not that far up the coast!
