Imagine a rogue one style movie set during the clone wars, and they have a bunch of people dressed as phase 2 clones walking around a city to advertise the movie. But they actually had the suits made out of metal and quality materials, it’s even functional to use as protection. And all it’s users are fit guys who are the same height and about he same build. With slight modifications to the movie armour, you could make some great irl armour off of phase 2, and if they were following a captain and pair of arc troopers around, and all holding high quality replicas of the clones weapons, that would be sick.
But put a tiny red and black symbol on their shoulder plates and all of a sudden it becomes a big deal, even though they both literally represent the exact same thing
One of THE greatest costume designs in history. And they DO hit their targets when primary characters aren't around....watch A New Hope again if you're confused. Disney has sadly turned them into a joke.
