Превосходно. Шедевр этот будет жить, пока исполняется , а значит , Всегда. Шуберту слава и пианистам!
Best version
I agree.
100% agree
Define best lol
There are severel giant versions: kissin levine (the one i prefer), britten Richter, lupu perrahia ..they are all masterpieces
Certain I had this exact same recording years ago. This work is much underrated it is truly one of Schubert’s greatest works in my opinion.
Underrated ? Its known to be one of Schubert's masterpiece. But.. he created so many masterpieces in his short life. A pure genius.
Heartbreaking beauty, both by composition and performance.
Равноценная игра! Браво!!!
Благодарю за предоставленную возможность слушать это исполнение !!! БЛАГОДАРЮ !!!
Inimaginable
Who is playing 1st and who is playing 2nd?
With Emil considered one of the best pianists of the 20-th century and Elena, known in the West mostly as "Emil's daughter", the answer should be easy ...
... but it is not. I have searched the Web, and nowhere is there an answer of who is playing which part - and it is certainly not easy to tell from just listening ...
Bravo Elena!!! You rank with your dad as one of Russia's best pianists. Standing ovation for this performance!!!
Did you find out? I’m getting more of an Emil feel as primo
@@ThatClassicalFella tempted to agree with you. Primo tends to be a little more controlled and I think I notice some inaccuracies strangely enough early on in the bass part when it is not too difficult. I have to say that the Fuge until the end is superbly played by both.
@@gideonboulton From most recordings I’ve heard it’s usually the more established pianist taking secondo but for the reason you mentioned my gut says Emil took primo here. Btw his daughter ain’t no joke, her mother was Rosa Tamarkina (one of the most underrated pianists who died way too young)
@@ThatClassicalFella Sorry, her mother was Farizet Khutsistova, with whom Gilels had lived for 38 years and who helped him to stand against difficulties of the part of his life not connected with music.
Больно сознавать, что судьба была так несправедлива к Шуберту, наградив его божественным даром, и лишив его личного счастья, и дав прожить всего 31 год. И впервые осознала, что и великий Гилельс прожил короткий век. Ничего не знала о его дочери
Schubert's most prominent piano duet!
They are singing through the pianos.
In this case the instrument does help a lot. As a young man I was in love with the recording.
The best version , anibody knows who played the bass and the treble ? For me I thing Emil play the grave, somebody ave the response ?
❤️🫂🙋♂️
Is it known who is playing primo, I guess it is Elena Gilels?
I guess so, I am not sure.
2. piano to much ff ...
