      I think sherika Jackson is the greatest female athlete Jamaica has ever produced. She is complete. Which other athlete has ever dominated in the 100,200, and 400. Gwaan gal !!

      Where are the 2023 races? I didn't want to see recycled videos, nice as they were.

    • @tfmarketing12
      @tfmarketing12 Год назад

      @@2afrikatv995 She might be the best, most complete female runner overall that Jamaica has ever had... but she can't have the title of "greatest" until she wins more gold medals at the major events (Olympics & World Championships). At the end of the day, gold medals matter, and by that standard Shelly-Ann definitely is the most decorated, most accomplished Jamaican female athlete ever. It's going to take a lot for Shericka to surpass Shelly-Ann's accomplishments.

    • @tfmarketing12
      @tfmarketing12 Год назад

      @@joyce2680 The 2023 season is just beginning, so there aren't a lot of races yet. Just give it time. You'll see a lot more races in over the next 2-3 months, leading up to the World Championships coming up this summer in Budapest.

    • @joyce2680
      @joyce2680 Год назад

      @@tfmarketing12 I understand that. My objection is the title. Give me 2023 races, even if there's only one race apiece. These channels have 2+ minute segments on sprinters. If that's all there is so be it. I can deal.
      I don't like the bait and switch: advertise one thing, but give me another. They wasted my time watching old videos while having to listen to mispronounced names of women working hard to be elite.
      I hear enough sports personalities trying to influence my perception. Just show and give me what's on the menu: if there are only 2-5 items so be it. I'll order or go elsewhere. 😉😏

    SAFP is adorable but I love ETH! Elaine is "the beast"! the women equivalent of Yohan Blake. I love her running style where she continuously gains momentum like a runaway hi speed train on a slope. SAFP is more like a bullet. She blasts off the start line and is pretty much impossible to keep up with for most but a few particularly over shorter distances. If ETH gets a good start then she more often can beat SAFP. I hope these ladies continue competing professionally for some time as they are so much joy to watch. Much love.

    • @karlrosette7110
      @karlrosette7110 Год назад +3

      Until they learn to embrace the TEAM concept, the 4 x 100m will continue to elude them. At the world championships last year, these three women swept the 100m individual finals. I am sure they went into the 4 by 100 relays thinking that as the three fastest women on the Planet, no way they can lose. "All we have to do is just show up, and we are as good as gold". WRONG! The Americans showed them that they need to work on passing the baton, and find out which of them are best at running the curve-- because Jenna Prandini smoked Shelly-Ann in the curve to give "TT" Terry an insurmountable lead. Their transferring the baton skill needs some work. With her relatively slow take off, Sherika Jackson may not be your best anchor option in a 100m run. I think Elaine may have been a better option... The Jamaicans definitely got out coached. The American staff was able to put together a hodgepodge of rookies and misfits, none of whom placed in their individual races, two of whom didn't even make the finals. For an American team, that did not include Sha'cari Richardson, arguably their best sprinter, and to tap Abbey Steiner as a late fill-in for second leg (next to Elaine Thompson) was nothing short of coaching brilliance.... So even with the three fastest sprinters on the planet, unless the Jamaicans make some changes, I can see why a world record in the 4 x100, will continue to escape them!
