But the first time I heard this song was on Jimmy Kimmel in January of 2017. That night Katie added the resistance section as a bridge. That section changes it from a good song to a great song.I don't know if Vevo asked them to leave it out or a manager or who. But I am looking to find a version of this song live or recorded that includes that bridge. apparently they no longer allow the Kimmel performance on You Tube since about last summer. The 35 seconds they do allow is like someone giving you a small appetizer and then stealing the main course from you. If any of you know where I can find this song with the Resistance bridge let me know. And may all of you be comfortable just being yourselves. Viva Resistance.
Here's an idea, get the drummer and bassist from Warpaint to join this band. Make it an all-girl band where each member has serious musical chops. The drummer from Warpaint is amazingly talented and is being held down by the poor songwriting of her current band. Their bassist is actually very good and moves well, but overall, the drummer and bassist don't fit the band, you can tell they are hired guns.
