remember - if you like doing Heist, Neversink ONLY shows Rare NPC gear etc, turn that to "any" so you see everything and then you can throw few trans/alts/augs to get going, makes it easier to get to the end game contracts to drop the high ilvl stuff :D

personally, I like the loot filter without any visual effects. The only one I have with an effect is that 6-links have a border, just because I wanted to try messing with the settings when I made mine. I've been meaning to add in a few newer bits to my filter though, so this video was helpful, since it's been several years since I created it.
Dude autosort is awesome. Also took my time and removed all the useless uniques from the list of shown one at a time. Kept only the 15c+ ones and bases that can easily be turned into items that are worth much more.
6:30 I fiddled around with those settings for the uniques for A LONG time, and what I can and will suggest for anybody are the following settings: - based on highest price - Include only "Tier 1", "Tier 2" and "Uniques (Hideable trash)" - set T1 to 50c threshold, T2 to 5c threshold (the T1 threshold should be based roughly around the ex price, I usually go with about 1/3 of whatever an exalt is worth at the moment) - Done ► auto sort - Down in the actual list, hide T4 and T5. That means you have to deselect (and therefore exclude from autosorting) the "Uniques (Remaining)". In the actual list these are the "Tier 3 - Semi Expensive uniques". The problem with this category is: It contains a lot (not all of them are like this, but quite a few) of the bases which have a shit variant which can drop normally, but a "semi expensive" variant (usually that means somewhere between 5 and 20 or 30c), which is either a very specific boss drop or are the result of some temple vial or other means of obtaining which isn't drop based. But they are not worth _enough_ to be in their respective other categories like the actual "boss drop only uniques" category. so if you do not deselect (and therefore exclude from autosorting), a lot of those bases end up in T1 or T2 category, giving you e.g. an exalted sound even though the actual expensive unique of this base can never drop to begin with. but if you do deselect it, and increase the threshold for T1 quite a bit, all those uniques I mentioned are shown in a rather unobtrusive style, but you cannot forget or miss them. and the big ticket sound is really only reserved for actual big ticket items. and the actual trash that nobody wants to pick up anyways except if that's your preferred method of obtaining alchs, is actually hidden. like it's supposed to be.

Or where do I see what deselecting it makes them show up as. I would probably want to have them highlighted with no sound or icon attached, but still a unique color so that if it pops up in a boss room or something I can connect the dots and realize it's valuable.
@@astronemir If you deselect the "Uniques (Remaining)" from the configuration settings, the category "Tier 3 - semi-expensive uniques" will not be touched by the auto sort algorithm. since my suggestions is to NOT hide this category (only hide t4 and t5), you will see all those uniques which are potentially worth a little bit (as I said, in the ballpark of 1c to 30c ish). You should only Hide T4 and T5, because those bases when they DROP are worth nothing. my settings only prevent those bases which contain boss drop uniques which are not worth half an ex+ to show up as half an ex 95% of the time while being only the shit variant. Autosort or even using the preset from the page is absolute crap...It puts items/currencies worth exalts in the same tier as others worth a chaos.Its so inconsistent. What i personally do is put everything in different tiers based on its value T1 worth more than 50 exalts,T2 worth more than 5 exalts,T3 worth more than 1exalt,T4 worth between 10 chaos and 1 exalt and T5 stuff worth 1 chaos to 10 chaos with a color for each value,for example i put blue on stuff worth 1-10 chaos,cyan on stuff worth 10c-1ex,red to stuff worth 1-5 ex and i use those colors for everything based on its value and the same with sounds.The only thing that differs is the icon and background color depending on the type of item rather than its value while for the value i use those colors i mentioned for text and border color as an indicator or value. I do this with all currency,cards,essences,fossils,oils,etc so i know immediatelly how much an item/currency is worth as well as what type of item it is when it drops on the ground rather than having so many different colors,sounds,sizes,etc for so many different items in an sooooo inconsistent way wich botters me like hell.However,this requieres countless hours of customization since i need to check the price for each currency,card,essense,etc individually becouse the presets are NOT based on value but rather on how much the person thinks is worth picking,even if its value is not consistent with the "worth picking up" criteria...Like,a 6 sockets seems to be worth picking up for 7 jewellers but a 20%Q gem seems to not be worth picking up...The 6 sockets ocupies 6 or 8 squares in your inventory and is worth 0.5 chaos while a 20%Q gem ocupies 1 square in your inventory and is normally worh 0.9 chaos. Also...Chayula blessing,exalted orb,mirror shard and mirror goes into the same tier???Seriously!? Chayula blessing=40c Exalted orb= 130c Miror shard=35ex Mirror= 650 ex WTF? 40c and 650 ex in the same tier? I don't think the new functions work tbh... "not rendered" should mean even if you hold Z the items do not appear. Magically they are all right back when you do, so that means they were always there to begin with. Unless I completely misunderstand the meaning of "not rendering" items.
It always pays to spend some time sorting the filter. The recent no render option is a better late than never addition, but its GGG so yeah.. Fun Fact: I also like having Mathil's vulgar sounds on, being called a C*NT every few seconds is fun, and for exalt drops ofc, because there indeed pretty fucking sugoi. Edit: 9:37 playing with a RTX2070 and have settings on low, little weird I dont like some sun effects or shadows either tbh
06:10 I think your phrasing is a bit confusing. Based on lowest price means less uniques highlights (so in this case Leather Belt will NOT have a strong hightlight) and vice versa. So, if you'd prefer Leather Belt to BE highlighted (not miss a valuable unique) => based on highest price.
Try that. There should be no issues with new filters. You may have an old and new location for your filter (game misc. info) folder. And maybe you're still saving to the old location, which really should be removed.
Its built in, but if you want it on your ps4 account link your never sink log into your poe account with ps4 save filter u made then go back to poe forum check its saved then open ur filter in ps4 and the custom or any one you saved is there.
Filters wouldn't work without GGG adding the tools necessary to create the filters in the first place. NeverSink is just a tool to make them more easily.
pro tip: sell your loot flter bundle. Nothing too crazy, just like $1-5. I would actually buy since I want to actually play the game rather than do all these tedious things.
