The "touches" played in this video are way too loud. In my opinion of course. This is something very difficult to keep the rhythm steady but at the same time vary the dynamics of the different tones and spread them as wide as possible. This takes the cajon from a wooden box with three tones to something with more depth and dimension. But I tend to play the cajon too loud in general and have to constantly remind myself to relax and especially the "touches" can be played super quiet but they're still audible in the mix.
