I was doing stamp shipping but I was doing a lot of refunds since customers were claiming they never got it, so started charging for First class
This was super helpful! I noticed that in your shop, you offer an option with no tracking and another with tracking. How do you provide tracking for those?

Do you just use stamps on the rigid envelopes? are they considered non machinable mail or a flat rate envelope/package?
Hello! You cant use stamps on rigid envelopes. I use shipping labels for those and choose the package/thick envelope option shipped via First Class for those.
do you get tracking numbers with envelopes/ do you think its needed??
No tracking number with stamped envelopes but I've been selling for 2 years and only had 2 get lost.
I wanted to use super pretty vellum paper.. but the cost ended up being $2 a package.. that's a lot when you add in stamps, mailers etc
I stopped spending so much on packaging. I realized that its most likely going to end up in the trash. I use the cheapest cardstock to make my thank you cards and I've gotten reviews mentioning the little note I have on the back. its the little things that customers notice!
How do you know if the buyer receives their item without a tracking number on the stamped envelope? Thank you!
Hello! Unfortunately you won't know unless they message you. I would add a note on your listing stating that there is no tracking so your customer won't be confused and assume it comes with a tracking number. I include a note in the photos and another note in the actual description. Hope this helps!
Do I need to put a shipping label on my envelope in order to get paid or I can put a stamp and I will still get my money deposited in my bank ?
Hello! You can use a stamped envelope and just mark the item shipped on etsy when you mail it. You get paid as long as you mark the purchase complete

I ship anything under 16oz First Class package. Stickers I ship via a stamped envelope.

So, poly mailers are not a good idea!
I wouldn't use those for paper items
