@@rebelmarion weak people cant imagine doing it themselves so it makes them feel better by saying 'oh she had to take drugs to get like that', when in fact even with steroids they wouldnt be able to achieve this physique.drugs dont make it easier it just helps you recover faster so you can work harder more often.
and the bloated stomach is due the insane amount of food this woman has to eat daily, I dont think she takes steroids and if she dose shes still a legend.

Just a general observation. Why are Crossfit women so jacked while the men are in great shape, but not what one would consider "Jacked". ? Many of the women look like they could walk off the floor in crossfit and compete in a BB contest. Not a slam on Crossfit at all. Just interesting how men's bodies react to this style of training vs. women.
There’s a couple factors in why this is, first being that on average, women have something like 25-35% more type 1 or slow twitch muscle fibres, which are the type used in endurance activities. The type of muscle being trained during CrossFit is one that women have in higher amounts, so it would make sense that women would get more muscular development from it (obviously not taking into account other factors like testosterone). Around 25% of women’s total muscle fibre area is type 1. They also have a higher capillary density. Because of this they can get more blood to the muscles and have better glucose oxidation to create energy. Which brings me to the next point. Men generally have 50-100% higher blood glucose than women, which means the have the ability to create and use energy immediately for something like a 1 rep max. I’ve heard (but I don’t know for sure) that the majority of women generally don’t have the ability to do a true 1RM. However women also uptake glucose twice as fast as men, which means they can create energy and therefore recover faster. So because of this women could theoretically go “harder” or use a higher percentage of their 1 rm for the workout than men can because they’re recovering better. A women might be able to do snatches at 85% for the duration of a workout whereas a man might have to use 65% to be able to make it through (these numbers are just an example and based on nothing whatsoever). There’s also an effect that estrogen has in the way it affects the mitochondria of the cell and plays a roll in ATP production but I don’t understand this well enough to speak on it. Lastly the fact that women generally have smaller frames make the muscle mass they have look way more pronounced, this is also why bodybuilders generally are shorter. For example look at Bayden and then look at Mat Fraser, they weigh about the same but Fraser is 2-3 inches shorter which makes him look way bigger than Bayden in terms of muscle mass.
@@DavidB8431 Awesome reply. Very interesting. I normally train in the lower rep range, powerlifting ish type of workouts. I do some ancillary stuff other than the compound movements. I started training some crossfit and i leaned out so fast I was shocked. I really enjoy the crossfit types of workouts because of the cardiovascular health and the endorphin kick. The interesting part is my compound movements have lost very little, if any strength. In fact, I feel a much better burst now as opposed to before. Way more explosive out of my lifts. Cool stuff.
The real reason is that testosteron works much better at women!
@@MrMichaelEsser I was wondering about that too. But a mild dosing of Test and HGH can make a guy who works out look jacked. I know, i tried it. I looked like a different person. The problem is for women, the side effects are permanent.

Katrin is very motivated, relay a beast, but the technique of pull ups and especially the rowing is not so good. The pull-ups are not straight. She could do that much better because she definitely had a lot of power in the core.
