I have loved Japanese culture since I was a child, and when I was in high school I encountered Japanese dance and the shamisen, and became strongly attracted to the world of traditional Japanese performing arts. @@floridafrostbite8002 oshiroi is very transfer proof. When I have done nihonbuyo recitals my oshiroi has been waterproof, sweatproof and mostly smearproof! It does lift off in areas where the abura wax was applied less heavily.
My brother is dating a Japanese American woman. However, her family is active in the Japanese community. He told me that when he joins her family for dance practice or ceremony party rehearsals, everything is so systematic and very detailed. The angles in which you have to bow, or even stand upright, is very important. Such a beautiful culture.
And with so few products and we're being told we 'need' £280 foundation and all these exorbitant make-up brands and this beautiful woman creaers the most amazing look with a handful of products.
She has a beautiful and relaxing voice, she is a beautiful woman. I love the delicate and perfect way in which Geishas do their work, I really admire them.

I would be so scared of doing the mascara in fear of accidentally getting it smudged onto the white, but she did it perfectly without fear! That just shows how much she’s practiced and perfected the process. Very impressive!
This is such a lovely video. The whole process must have taken forever but since she has been in training I'm sure an hour or two from makeup, to hair to wearing the clothes. This is definitely the most detailed how to wear traditional makeup and a wig, most creators rush through the whole set-up and all set. Thanks for sharing!
My uncle was in the US Navy. He met a geisha in Kyoto who became my aunt Shigeko. She told us she kept cats so they could swear for her 😊 She was like a note of music and so are you.❤

Fascinating. Im from scotland and my next door neighbour was from Japan andd she bought me the cutest little kimono when i was 3 and i loved it. She showed me how to put it on properly and would tell me stories about growing up in Japan and her cooking was legendary. When my dad got sick she would bring him a delicious meal once a week because she flew these enormois prawns in from Japan because she knew they were his favourite and she would serve it with a potato and egg salad and it was delicious. Dad had cancer and cooking smells made him nauseous but he alwas ate what Ryoko brought him. Sadly she passed before dad did but mum andd her husband watch out for each other. Hes 90 and still lives by himself, gardens and grows wonderful veg and walks everywhere. Just a lovely couple to grow up next door too.

The term geiko translates to "woman of art", while geisha translates to "artist," "performing artist," or "artisan". Outside of Kyoto, women are generally referred to as geisha. I found this fascinating. I was astonished by how perfect her skin was BEFORE make up. Her skin is like that of a 6 year old child-- absolutely perfect, like porcelain. No pores, no lines, no discolouration...like butter, as if the camera had a diffusion filter on. Bouncy, smooth gorgeous skin. Wow! 🎎🗾😮💖
