"One man alone, betrayed by the country he loves". I started being invested into Transformers by watching Revenge of the Fallen more than like 20 times. I remember just shutting my brain off most of the time and just watching the action sequences because those were the best parts of the film lol.
I have two headcanons on why the fallen hated humans. 1. They spent a lot of time setting up the star harvester to only find out shortly after that there's life on the planet, basically revealing that the primes wasted their time. Like I'll be pissed off too if the time spent on whatever I'm working on was utterly pointless at the end. 2. What we learned in the fifth movie is that the earth is Unicron and humanity being a offshoot of him, explaining why everyone is such massive douche-bags, and the fallen sense that and try to exterminate both the planet and the human race before they could become a problem.
I can confirm, ROTF was one of 3 things that got me into Transformers in 2010. The other 2 were the G1 show, and TF Prime. I was a little Timmy so I obviously didn't pick up on the racism, horrible characters, unfinished plot, or crappy villain. All I saw was badass Robots fighting each other while turning into cars and airplanes. And my very small child brain loved it.
It holds up far less than the first movie. The first movie had Blackout's attack on the base, No Sacrifice No Victory, Scorponok's attack (if you cut out the caller gag) and Mikaela in Mission City. DOTM had some interesting ideas, but only one (Laserbeak silencing human collaborators) was executed well.
42:20 also, may I add, the Primes, the coolest and oldest faction of cybertronians, turned into a ball and sacrificed themselves so the Fallen couldn't get the matrix, but Bumblebee one shotted a hole right to the middle of the ball with his peashooter.
I hate how Devastator is designed to work in a realistic environment by being unable to support his weight without being a quadruped, yet several characters (Demolisher/Scavenger, Sideswipe, The Sisters, and Rampage/Skipjack) are designed to look cool without this rule of realism for no reason.
Y’know something crazy? Dreamworks, yes *fucking DREAMWORKS* did the CGI for these movies? This means the people that made SHRECK made Optimus Prime UGLY. Think about that.
I remember as a kid watching this movie in the theater and saying that it was the best movie ever, but after watching it for the second all these years later, it's not good. Still better than a good chunk of stuff being pumped out today, but that's not saying much. On a positive note, I could make out the whole plot and general motivations, such as Jetfire first thought that after The Fallen was nearly killed that the Decepticons were better because they were going to be the winning faction, but changed his mind because of how poorly organized they were. I also hate this version of Megatron in the movies and forgot that he was a triple-changer. Both vehicle modes look terrible by the way, and his claw gun is basically a glove. Optimus only killed Grindor since Starsceam lived (also he really seems to go for a head kill if he can). Another note, there were TWO fragments of the Allspark Cube despite Prime picking out one from Megatron in the first movie.
Dark of the moon was the first movie i followed daily updates for , hell o rember the day inwent to see Rotf i was fresh graduated from middle school and Michale Jackson was confirmed dead on the same day

Finally found something to listen to while drawing🙏
Lol same
My favorite part was when Optimus Prime savagely beat that Decepticon in the head with a hammer, I thought it was done tastefully and artistically.
Next podcast: back kibble destroys the idea that DOTM holds up
I'd watch that.
Maybe even unironically.

My friends sisters college doesn’t allow freshmen to have cars, so I think it’s just really uncommon
Okay, I strongly believe that Sam’s parents and Mojo the dog are the most interesting part of these movies
PerspectiveEND is DA GOAT!!

It could be called perspective’s perspective on perspective.

he's called the fallen in dis one. In fact, they never even call him that in the movie. He was retroactively called that. Please do your research

@@RagulerI can’t tell if you’re serious or not

Was the cake at the party? Or was it on Saturn's moon with Mr. Bionicle and Starscream?

I agree strawberry is the best flavor I like perspective more now cuz only a narcissist hates strawberry lmfao
Perspective should have watched the movie again, cause his "amazing recap" wasn't amazing
