That second one was a harpoon 😂 Spear fishing head with metal ears to clamp around a stick. The knife is a cheap design for a “safety knife” without the mechanism to close, it’s stamped metal. That kit should also come with pencil, some cork float lines, and a spoon lure.

I didn’t read through all of the comments Mav, but in case nobody else mentioned this: The large harpoon attached to heavy cord looks like it is intended to be held on the end of a stick while keeping tension on the cord above against the handle. You essentially have a spear or harpoon to stick a fish in shallow water or stream, then haul it in. I’m only guessing this since it has a barbed end to hold on. 😊

First, I love your videos and have been watching for years. I know this is been an issue of debate in at least one of your past videos, but I still have to make just one comment: Lake Baikal is actually the largest freshwater lake in the world by volume. Lake Superior is the largest by surface area and the 3rd largest by volume. You did mention that it is the largest by surface area in a previous video, but I know that the more comments on a video the better, so I figured it wouldn't hurt to clarify. Keep up the amazing videos, Mav.
