Thanks a lot to #EaseUS for sponsoring this video and helping with my channel growth! 🥰
Do you like the concept of carrying your OS along with all your data with you, no matter where you go? 🤔
Would you have any use for something like that or is it just my hoarder's mind that finds everything useful for "certain future situations"? 😂

That was a poor choice to make a new instance of Win. Instead, since you mentioned it earlier in the vid, why would you not just order a 256gb usb drive???? The MAJOR benefit of this software is to be able to take YOUR full Windows OS anywhere you go, NOT a new load, with nothing on it. Other than that, good vid.

The main performance issue with SD cards and USB sticks is the lackluster IO performance which is essential when running a OS on it. So the speed won't really matter if there are many processes using the IO (reading and writing to files).
PS: You've been able to do this for a while on Linux for free ;)

Also their lifespan is much shorter than a regular ssd.

Indeed, you're totally right. However, I don't think anyone would seriously make something like this their primary system. At least I hope so... :D

@Erik Reider - This is simply not true. I have a very complex system up and running on a 500GB usb stick, with no slow down noticeable whatsoever. And I've been running it for five days now. All of my normal home OS system processes rolling along without a single glitch for almost a week.

i really like this idea only issue i would be using this to use it on a public computer and i have a feeling that all the bios boot managers will be bios locked. if that's the case i find the use case for this item hard. unless your borrowing your friends laptop at their place temporarily.

I think you can do this without any third party software.
Correct me if I’m wrong :)

I'm not 100% sure on this. You probably mean Windows To Go, but I've heard somewhere, that not each and every USB flash drive is accepted.
But please don't take my word for it. :)

What if I have an error that doesn't let me use regular windows, would this work fine in a sata SSD?

EaseUS spies on You when You use their software. They record every run and verify license every time by geolocation. I have stopped using even their free software. Paying for 1 year is abomination. Lifetime soft is too expensive
