Some of these vehicles are as useless as a bag of hammers without handles. The forklift truck useless. The trailer with rear tilting wheels useless. The mobile washing bay ! you would never make money with that, therefore it's useless. The video itself is useful, it shows some really good pieces of equipment and some stupid inventions.👍🍻
Funny, years ago we built a forklift from a 1T truck. Pulled all the tin work and cut top of cab off you sat above engine facing the rear. It had been 4 wheel drive with a pto. The clutch was a lever operated by hand. Once you got the hang of it worked well. We were in a camp with barge only access which was expensive. We used it to unload shake blocks from trucks and to load out the barge.
The one thing that stands out is. How everything is over complicated. Be it a rail grinder or that trailer. Just disconnect the trailer at the front . Then driver equipment on. Not be limited by single axles.
theres a model in australia that stays level the whole way along and is accessed by a knuckle ramp at the back. meanwhile that trailer in the vid, it may be used for tight spaces where you cant disconnect to allow a front lont, or its a back in only factory floor that doesnt have the ramps that allow direct over the wheel loading.
@@nathanharrison2 Yeah! The Rotators, but his is more "nimble and compact" than these and stronger with a good reach. What I can see it has better legs for what we are doing at FD in Sweden, so you don't have a manhole just where you have to put one of them else. And we can call for plenty of of rotator wreckers if we need them, but have to call for "real telescopic cranes" for hard to lift stuff. [We can lift only 500 kg at 19 meter horizontally with our Bronto basket skylifts, but probably nearly weighs as much as this one (w/o counterweights).] Have a nice weekend!
It sure is a great idea, because alot of companies and even privatte people could use a (extra) forklift once in a while, and then there's no need for an expensive truck to pick up and deliver a forklift to your adres because now you rent one and drive it yourself to wherever you need it. Only little flaw i see that it could use some more counterweight. They could make that between the 2 cabs, or even a system so that it could be taken off and attach to the front bumper.
@@3DPeter it may seem like a good idea at first, but it is simply to big to use it really as a Forklift, it is more practical if you use a compact loader wit forks, since you can drive them easy on the road and come with many tools, like shovels, mulcher, mowers, even tree cutters, and they are smaller and often have a tight turning radius .
@@michaelhunschag2430 Everyone with a drivers license can drive in this van, but driving a loader is not for everyone, so it's not such a good idea to rent one out to the first best person with no experience at all, while this van is a way different story. And there are also people who live let's say 20 miles from the nearest rental, so driving this van goes way faster than a slow loader. And a loader may not drive on highways, so to get from a to b wil be a time consuming adventure. And sure its a little big, but it's meant as a temporary and quick solution in case of an emergency, so for example when a company needs to unload a truck, but their forklift broke down and can't be fixed in a hurry. Or privatte people who need to lift something heavy into place once in their lifetime and then this is a great, fast and cheap solution.
@@3DPeter in my country you need a special license to drive a truck like this, and when you look at the price of it, well you get a good used forklift too. and if i order as a private person something that big that i need a forklift, it usually comes with a semi truck with crane or the truck has a forklift attached to it, that how it is in my country. i don´t say it is useless, but not as practical as it looks.
Класс. До чего техника дошла.
Maquina podrias hacer tambien videos de maquinas?

that truck cab with the forklift on the back is kind of stupid. Its like someone thought they had a good idea but didn't realize how stupid it is.

Yeah, the rail grinder.. Where ever has a rail system that isn't connected or can't organise a maintenance schedule....
The last crane is a nice one for emergency services as it seems!
i believe theres a few models out there in use for heavy vehicle recovery.

Terrible view behind the fork driver position, you'd want a banksman or clear the yard of everything else before using this.
