Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. Personally, I like their older music better than their newer BUT I'm still going to buy "Spirit" as soon as it's released.
Speak and Spell and A Broken Frame are my top FAVORITE albums. I like ALL their music, but those are at the top of my list.

I grew up listening to DM, they are the only band that stayed true to its style and after 40 years they are still fckin awesome and mindblowing in every possible way.. their lyrics always made me think through my reality and question myself many many times about my decisions and feelings.. not every artist can do that..

they formed as a band in 1977 and this is 2017 as I see it her math could be correct .There first album came out in 81 and I became a fan in 88 and have followed them since. Some people are lucky enough to see the beginning of a band I have seen a few bar bands go on to make it big so get the facts john before you judge others cause I guess history isn't your strong point.

This song "Where's The Revolution" is such a pure masterpiece, not only in the melody but also in the deep and meaningful lyrics.
This is the true power : when you have achieved success and fame at such a high level that you can afford to be above all these bureaucrats and politicians, and denounce all their schemes.

Три раза была на концерте в Германии в разные года. Как во сне... Такая мощная у него энергия, слов нет, он самый лучший, очень уважает публику, полностью выкладывается. Это что-то Высшее. Обожаю уже 31 год.

@@NordTraveler Нет не была, я в Германии живу. Мы с сыном на концерты ходили в разные года, и сыну очень понравилось, хотя он другую музыку предпочитает. Самая благодарна я публика-это в Польше. Стадионы переполнены там, яблоку негде упасть. А в Германии публика сытая и зажравшаяся. Представляете ходят, едят, пьют. На группу 0 внимания. Смотреть противно. А ещё у него 2 альбома за 2015 год,... класс! Но это уже он исполняет не с "Депешами", Вы слушали? 👍👍👍🤗

depeche are as relevant today as ever. Just beautiful. A very clear message. Whilst a lot of US fans identify with this track right now, it's much more globally balanced than that.
