Thank you for this wonderful tutorial... I got a question... I started to learn maya from last month but I don't know whether am in right track or not... First learnt about interface, function keys and now started to model a face where am facing difficult to understand topology, anotomy etc... Do you think should I start modelling with human charecter or any other basic objects for better understanding... Really confused... Please suggest me... Thank you...
Hi Balu, thank you for reaching out. There is definitely information overload out there, so I would recommend to start with basic objects. Humans are pretty complicated. I'm not sure if you knew, but I have a Udemy course for beginners in Maya. You can use this link to get 50% off. :) www.udemy.com/maya-2019-essential-training-3d-modeling-for-beginners/?couponCode=ACADEMICPHOENIX50
thats great tutorial.. heyi can u make a detailed modeling tutorial on F22 raptor fighter jet and uv mapping shading with arnold materials rigging the blades and render with arnold??
Same techniques apply. Just keep it low poly. Also, to put a character in game engine, it's the rig that's important. Make sure to use a rig that goes into game engines. :)
add emission to the light mesh of white color....and made mesh of the glass of headlight opaque from arnold section in attribute editor .... add some area lights in front of the headlight glow of the same size....and then add environment to the scene.....from render settings > arnold renderer > environment....you can play with the intensity, exposure and the intensity of the environment
I cannot believe how real my car looks, just from these simple techniques. Thank you Ms. Phoenix.
That's awesome, Keith! It is really sometimes so simple that it's unbelievable! :)
